I've lived a life good life of fun times, war and lessons learned. Some lessons we're learned doing no so great things one could be proud of. Luckily, there is a path to make things right in Jesus’ direct teachings and actions in the Gospels. Even better we have AI, such as @grok, to help use dig through the Bible quickly to know what the steps for salvation are. Believe: Trust in Jesus as the Son of God and Savior (John 3:16, 6:40). Repent: Turn from sin to follow God’s kingdom (Mark 1:15, Luke 13:3). Be Baptized: Follow Jesus’ example of full immersion baptism as part of being “born of water and the Spirit” (Matthew 3:13-17, John 3:5, Mark 16:16). Confess: Publicly acknowledge Jesus as Lord (Matthew 10:32-33). Follow: Live a life of obedience to Jesus’ teachings, bearing fruit for God’s kingdom (Matthew 7:21, Luke 9:23). These steps reflect Jesus’ own words and example, without influence from later theological developments or denominational views. Straight from the Bible. Why post this and pin to my profile? Because I like many others went back to my faith after seeing the example of a great man Charlie Kirk at the same time my oldest decided to walk towards a different religion. It brought me back to scripture to reinforce my faith and examine myself. It's not easy seeing your child deceived by another religion. Maybe if you're looking at my profile you share some similarities and this helps you start your journey of faith. Know Jesus is our Lord and Savior, sent as the ultimate and final sacrifice for our sins.

Here’s why the Chinook is the greatest. I led a target in Afghanistan with 2 x 47s, 2x DAPs and the Blackhawks at the DLS with the QRF. We also brought enough gas to FARP the DAPs and brought their reload. Things got spicy and the QRF went in. When they were getting postured for Exfil the GF wanted to work the sequence for Exfil. I told them easy. Split the QRF and the 2x47s can take everyone out at once. (My favorite kind of radio call). We dumped the extra gas the DAPs didn’t use in the DLS, flushed the 60s home, and then exfiled everybody. Once we were PZ clean, the DAPs cleaned up the DLS by blowing up my fuel spill. The best kind of night for all.

It’s frustrating when a gate isn’t open, but before you hate on the airlines, consider they don’t own the gates. Most of the time, the gate is occupied not because of something the airline can control, but because of an FAA imposed ground delay. I’ve pushed off gates an hour or more before I know we’ll be able to leave – we have an Estimated Departure Clearance Time (EDCT) – just to open that gate for an inbound flight. So the passengers are going to wait on the front end, or they can wait on the back end. It doesn’t really make a difference to me, except on the front end I’m burning fuel I might need, where on the back end of the flight I care a lot less about that. I do kind of hate boarding passengers when I know we’re going to just sit, though…they’d be more comfortable in the terminal. If you want guaranteed gates, tell the cities to build more, including spares. The airlines hate every minute a jet is on the ground…it’s burning money in leases, insurance, payroll & maintenance. In the air, it’s generating enough revenue to cover these cost plus a tiny bit…but the margin is small & you quickly go from small profit to loss.

Hey @realBrandonGill I know you're focused on saving the Republic, protecting our borders (thanks btw)- But how about a transpo bill that would give airlines 30 min time limit once they land to get passengers to a gate, or else fines kick in and escalate every hour?

I was a strict adherence to the rules guy as a young WO1/CW2. Then I became a PC as a CW2. You have to know all the rules and regulations. You also have to know which rules and regulations are non-Newtonian fluids and which rules and regulations are tungsten.

@AZinCLE @MCCCANM We have too many people on meds that would run to the engines or across the ramp. Best to keep the general population in glass boxes with TSA entrances.

@MCCCANM It's a little strange to me that US airports seem so averse to remote stands. Seems like that would add a lot of flexibility at minimal cost. I'd much rather walk down some stairs than sit on the plane an extra 30 minutes when the gate isn't ready.

@SGTWipper1Each Its not the size of the round, but where you put it. On patrol, I carry the H&K 45 USP Off duty, M&P shield 9mm If I have an issue off duty...it will most likely be close and personal

Ammo Capacity vs Stopping Power I opted for a 16rd 9mm, but I see a lot of people prefer a larger round. What capacity and round size is a healthy balance?

High velocity 9mm loads are perfect. Gives you more opportunities to land on target in high stress situations. You can easily equal or outperform .40 or .45 with the right propellant load in 9mm. Remember when it comes to kinetic energy, Doubling the velocity (v) quadruples the energy. Doubling the mass (m) only doubles the energy.

I believe in the next few years we'll see a curtailment of the flock type systems. There is already case law forming around the concept that persistent surveillance that creates an aggregate of a person's life patterns is an unwarranted search. Violating the 4th amendment and breaching reasonable expectations of privacy. It won't be long before someone is able to bring damages showing Flock went beyond random observation points in public due to camera density and logging. Providing similar tracking a GPS tracker that requires a warrant does. If these systems had stopped short of that data logging instead only checking for generic NCIC hits, would be different. Only a matter of time before it's ruled on. United States v. Jones (2012) Carpenter v. United States (2018) Beautiful Struggle v. Baltimore Police Department (4th Cir. 2021)

In the United States, you generally forfeit your expectation of privacy in public spaces like streets parks or other venues. Basically if u can be seen or heard by the naked eye or ear you are not protected by the 4th Amendment. This is grossly misunderstood. Until SCOTUS rules otherwise....welcome to America. Don't hate the players hate the game🫤 I know this upsets the Flock haters. Sorry😳👮‍♂ AND....Anything can be abused if its not used properly. It's not synonymous to @Flock_Safety

A guaranteed setback every three years. PCSing is expensive. Like renting a car in Hawaii for 3 weeks while you wait in yours to arrive in port. My favorite was waiting until 30 days prior to report cut actual orders so there was no way to get on transportation's schedule and having to do a full DITY/PPM. Hotels, home furnishings, fast food, pet boarding. It adds up. Was a primary driver of why I retired. Tired of making the family move every 2-3 years.

@BandyJim While there are entitlements when PCSing, I would venture to guess that most military families still lose money in the process
