The govt's Student Loan Plan 2 repayment freeze in April 2027 must be reversed. It isn't moral. I'm concerned that my debate with Kemi Badenoch this morning distracts from the most immediate problem. In April 2027 Rachel Reeves will freeze the Plan 2 student loan threshold until 2030 which by then will increase graduate repayments by £300/yr more. This is effectively a unilateral negative breach of the student loan contract. Students were told the threshold would rise with average earnings. No commercial lender would be allowed to do this. The govt shouldn't do it either. Changing the terms of future students loans is a political decision - people may not like it but it is transparent. Negatively changing the terms of contracts already signed, and long in place, is a breach of natural justice.

Hello @LewishamCouncil, I paid for a white crossover bar for our property on 18th March and was advised it would be complete in 8 weeks. Despite chasing, we are now 12 weeks and counting and still with no news as to when the work will be done.

I was given a @DAustinRoses gift and I’ve found a use for the lovely box it came in - a shade for my laptop so that I can work outside!

My bank says that because you have not implemented additional checks required to meet new standards under Payment Services Regulations, payments will be declined.

Hi @AmazonHelp @AmazonUK I'm a longstanding customer with valid payment details on my account. Your system is saying MY bank is declining payments. My bank says that new regs mean suppliers have to implement additional checks or payments will be declined. When will you do this?

I spoke to a library manager who had just reviewed the patient information produced by her hospital - on average requiring a reading age of 18.2 years. The national average is 9 - 11 yrs. We need a selection of materials on each condition that respect different literacy levels.
