The SFA has confirmed the officiating team for Celtic's trip to Tannadice to take on Dundee United this weekend. Ahead of the game, the SFA has announced that Nick Walsh will take charge of proceedings at Tannadice, where he will be assisted by Daniel McFarlane and David McGeachie on their respective touchlines. Away from the action in Dundee, David Dickinson will be tasked with VAR, assisted in his duties by Andrew Dallas at Clydesdale House.

For the 2nd league match running, Mr Beaton hasn't initially awarded Celtic a penalty which was later proven to be clear cut on review. He had a good view of Maeda being pulled down & I was surprised he didn't award it immediately.

Without VAR stepping in & doing the refs job we’d have lost at Ibrox & may not have won today. The ref on both occasions was John Beaton. How he ‘missed’ today’s penalty in real time is a disgrace. He clearly seen it. Stonewall foul yet doesn’t award it. Not fit to referee.

@AgentScotland It’s not baffling it’s Beaton all over the back. He shouldn’t be allowed to referee or operate as VAR on any future @CelticFC matches. He shows he can’t officiate fairly.

Just seen a clip of the penalty decision, at the game in real time I thought it definitely looked like one, but watching the clip I didn't realise how obvious it was and how great a view Beaton had of the incident, why he didn't give it instantly is baffling.

@MattMcGlone9 When will the @CelticFC board call out John Beaton. His performance today shows he can’t be impartial when it comes to our team. He ignores clear fouls against us. Fails to award the clearest penalty ever. Stormy about showing he can’t stand our players.

Beaton looks highly irritated with every Celtic player today and is waiting for an opportunity to give against us. As I speak he walks to the screen after denying us a penalty.

So it’s not about the lines it’s about Scales coming from an offside position and makes a material impact. This is why fans are suspicious.

@Barcabhoy1 💯 I always believed that our fans were compassionate and considerate. The graffiti is awful and should be condemned. The vandalism is petty and reflects poorly on our club. The Green Brigade have given a reason for the club not to bring them back an they need to accpt that
