Merrill covered 92 feet in 6.0 seconds of opportunity time (from pitch release) to leap and bring back the homer.
Catch probability from Statcast is 95%, and robberies can be controversial. While DRS will reward the runs saved, Merrill's OAA only increased by .05. The stat is telling us MLB outfielders can cover that distance routinely in that time.

@ArmchairQB_UM ABS marks the pitch in the middle of the plate, not the front edge. In the first image, the front edge is even with his front knee, and the middle almost directly between his knees. So yeah, it is two plus baseballs low.

@UpdogSportsTalk Look at that screen again, it's not just that they have a weak schedule because they are a mid major, They have the 348th of 361 division 1 member schedules. It's extremely difficult to judge a team on that metric.

A lot of the biggest names in the sport are literally spreading the message "don't schedule good mid majors and more bids will be available for you because it will be literally impossible for them to get one"
