@nadams As a constituent, I've been consistently disappointed by your lack of visibility in both physical and representation terms, your focus appears to be elsewhere. Or to put it another way...you've been shit all use as an MP since you inserted your nose up Boris' rectum.

Yesterday, Selby Conservatives selected an excellent new parliamentary candidate. I’ve today informed the chief whip that I will be standing down as a Member of Parliament with immediate effect. It has been an honour to represent the area where I was raised, educated & 1/2

@LBIAirport and @Ryanair your special assistance for those with non-visible disabilities leaves a lot to be desired. Not good enough you should both be ashamed.

REMEMBER: If you’re travelling into London for work today, wearing a face covering on public transport is still mandatory. Don’t put your own and other people’s safety at risk. Failure to follow the rules could mean a £200 fine.

@nickisrani @droidinio @MayorofLondon Not wrong. TFL's own mask mandate continued as a condition of carriage. If you did not wear a mask and you were not exempt you were not permitted to travel in their network. I agree they had no capability to levy a fine, TFL don't have that power now, only the police do.

@greenspanbsc @casbecas @NDCS_UK @halfon4harlowMP Here's the thing, I am an expert in acoustics, including how it relates to schools. I'm not an expert in epidemiology, but despite vigorous research, can't find any research on the effectiveness of face coverings in schools. Perhaps you need to admit you're just making things up?

@ChrisChittock @casbecas @NDCS_UK @halfon4harlowMP To be clear, I offer nothing that's 4 the scientists & experts - there are many awa a number of simplified graphics- I merely state that there's an abundance of evidence because there is - check it out 4 yourself. Easy 2 find if you want 2 look, alternatively, listen to experts!

@greenspanbsc @casbecas @NDCS_UK @halfon4harlowMP So to be clear your statement on an abundance of evidence was BS? You seem to be missing the point, it's not a question as to masks providing some protection, it's is that protection good enough to offset the harm they do in a classroom setting? You've offered nothing on that?

@ChrisChittock @casbecas @NDCS_UK @halfon4harlowMP Obviously mask is another layer of protection. The better the mask ...grades & fitting with hand hygiene etc.Masks work the better u wear/use them, the better they work.Educate how 2 use them of course. Most adults put on/take off same masks/Hand hygiene often dubious!Ventilation.

W Covid cases in London now decreasing + UK slowing - it is great to see no real change in Covid deaths over last month. The health crisis is in danger of being driven by staff problems due to over- cautious isolation rules. Lets reduce this to 5 days! coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/deaths

@greenspanbsc @casbecas @NDCS_UK @halfon4harlowMP Please share the abundance of evidence as it very hard to track down given its abundance? Agree common sense a medical grade mask will stop transmission, but non-medical face covering, taken on and off all day? Has to be evidence that benefits outweigh the known harm to kids.

@casbecas @ChrisChittock @NDCS_UK @halfon4harlowMP There is an abundance of evidence about masks. Common sense too really. Most children awa for multiple immune compromised children in schools masks are vital. Plus the adult staff. Obviously its not suitable for everyone but for the overwhelming majority it certainly is.

@casbecas @NDCS_UK @halfon4harlowMP Deniar? Assuming your suggesting I'm seeking to deny the existence of something? Masks? Face coverings? Covid? Or has someone just reasonably challenged the position that there there are proven large negative to mask wearing in schools and little evidence of positive benefits?

@NDCS_UK @halfon4harlowMP There's research which has been condensed into legal requirements for new schools for acoustics and speech intelligibility to ensure no one disadvantaged, not just those who have a hearing impairment. I'm not aware of research that non-medical masks in school stop transmission?
