The book Shattered by Jonathan Allen and Aimee Parnes came out right after that election and before the Russiagate narrative was crystalized and admitted from inside the campaign sources that Podesta & co made up the whole thing as an ass covering excuse for blowing the election.

I remember living in DC during peak Russiagate and being regarded as a kook because I maintained there were at least 30 countries with more corrupt influence in our politics than Russia theoretically had.

The DNC finally released the full 192 page 2024 election autopsy today. I haven't read the whole thing, but I did read "What Happened" and it's very clear why the DNC did not release it. It's not Gaza/Palestine - that is not mentioned once in any capacity. It's just a horrible document. The most incompetent thing I've seen in a very long time. It provides essentially no information of any value. I'll give some examples in the thread.

@TristanSevers Providence is my favorite US city so Ive been there a bunch of times, but I havent been to either Cross Plains or Auburn but would love to go to Auburn in particular as CAS is my second favorite author...probably ever lol. Joshi's Lovecraft Bio was great so I expect good things

@ChrisDMott Each of CAS's settings has a strong and coherent genre vibe, but he would write new stories not just without regard for factual continuity between them but in the form of explicitly contradictory riffs on the same events and theme.
