DON’T LET THIS STORY DIE. A sitting congressman, Ted Lieu, said on the record the Epstein files are being blocked because they show Trump raped and threatened to kill children. This is a national emergency.

Why do the Tory/Reform politicians talking about energy security forget to mention they closed a gas storage facility back in 2017?

SHE REPORTED NHS FRAUD. THEY GAVE HER CANCER AND A P45 Sharmila Chowdhury @sharmilaxx spent 30 years working in the @NHS without a single disciplinary mark. Then she caught two consultant radiologists at Ealing Hospital NHS Trust billing the NHS for sessions they were spending at a private hospital down the road. Double-dipping on public money. Straightforward fraud. She reported it. To her line manager. To the Medical Director. To the HR Director. To Counter Fraud. To the Chief Executive. To Number 10. To the Treasury. She had a paper trail so solid that ITV later sent undercover cameras to the hospital and caught the same consultants still at it years later, taking cash from patients for private ultrasounds inside an NHS building. The Trust's response? They sacked her. On fabricated counter-allegations. The man who raised those allegations later sent an email signed off "0800-F***-YOU-B****." He received a 'Top Mentor' award from the Trust that same year. Sharmila won at tribunal. She won her appeal. The judge asked the Trust to reinstate her. The Trust said no. She was blacklisted across the NHS. One job offer was withdrawn the moment they found out who she was. Her legal costs hit £130,000. She developed breast and lung cancer, which her doctors believe is linked to the years of sustained stress. The consultants kept their jobs. George Osborne couldn't get involved. Andrew Lansley couldn't get involved. David Cameron couldn't get involved. Because everyone decided it was an "employment matter." A proven fraud case, covered by ITV, the Guardian, Daily Mail and Channel 4, and the official position of Her Majesty's Government was: not our problem. This is what the UK does to people who try to protect public money. It destroys them and promotes the people they were trying to stop. Kier Starmer has made himself an irrelevance on the world stage. What is going to offer to put on the table or threaten to take off the table to influence this situation? What’s his diplomatic or military currency? What’s his leverage? What’s the point of his trip?

Remember when we said Brexit would be a shitshow for the UK? Remember when we told you that Trump would be a total disaster for mankind? We’re telling you the same things about Farage and Reform. Are you really that fucking thick?

Over 40% of this 3000 acre site is on prime farmland. Labour are crushing farmers with taxes while incentivising them to use their best land for solar farms, not food. Meanwhile they’ve cancelled the land-dense, 24/7 clean energy, nuclear plant I signed off. Mad.
The Telegraph@Telegraph

☀️ Ed Miliband has approved Britain’s biggest solar farm despite objections from nearby residents who likened it to Chernobyl. It will cover seven square miles of farmland in solar panels, an area 10 times greater than London’s Hyde Park. 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/business/2026/…

This is what Labour wanted. 500 children without a school place. 170 staff made redundant. Their VAT raid on school fees was never about “fairness”, it was about punishing independent education. Children, families teachers and support staff are now paying the price.

Right, I'm off to work. As a 66 year old homeowner who's now been working for 50 years through thick and thin, I know I've been a "burden" on society. I started working when James Callahan was Prime Minister and I've be a drain on society during the tenure of EVERY PM since then. I continue to take the piss by getting up every weekday morning and doing a days graft before returning to my home, which I really don't deserve because it's just a wicked twist of fate that I was born into a generation where home ownership became possible and the mere fact that I now own my home makes me a villain. Worse still, I'm a "Boomer" villain. This is unforgivable. So I'm considering renting a small flat and giving my home to a group of people who truly deserve to live in it. But who? Some "digital artists" with degrees in "Meme Creativity"? Chantelle, ("Influencer" and came 6th on Love Island), and her besties who could turn the front room into a nail bar and install a hot tub on the patio? I'd obviously pay for the tub and the increased electricity bill. Yusef and his best mates from Somalia? I know many people such as Yusef are housed in hotels, which are quite comfy, but I'm sure they'd appreciate living in a nice bungalow in Devon. There's even a convenience store around the corner. Easy pickings. It's a dilemma. I really don't know what you do. I'll ponder this question as I'm clambering over someones roof today trying to repair their rotten fascia board. Have a lovely day.

@Nigel_Farage The Tories, who never once in 14 years in power spent even 2.5% of GDP on defence are now in Reform, so only an imbecile would believe you.

Nearly 9 million people are economically inactive. 1 in 10 working-age adults now claims sickness or disability benefits - costing £100bn by the end of the decade. Are we really to believe Britain has suddenly become too ill to work? No. The system is broken and more people are exploiting it.

MAN LOSES EVERYTHING FOR TELLING THE TRUTH. HSBC LOSES NOTHING FOR FRAUD. Nicholas Wilson spotted something wrong in 2003. Simple enough: @HSBC's subsidiary HFC Bank was quietly adding a 16.4% "debt collection charge" to the accounts of people already struggling to pay off store cards at John Lewis, Currys, B&Q, Dixons and PC World. Illegal. Straightforward. He said so. His boss started calling him "Mr Ethical." Not a compliment. He reported it. Got sacked. Reported it again. Got ignored. Regulators sat on it for years. @TheFCA own Complaints Commissioner eventually said it was the worst case of regulatory failure he'd ever dealt with. The FCA responded by appointing someone from John Lewis and someone from HSBC to its board. You genuinely cannot make this up. After 13 years, HSBC quietly agreed to compensate customers. The official figure: 6,700 people. Wilson says the real number is closer to 500,000. He estimates the fraud totalled over £1 billion. HSBC has paid out around £200 million so far, with some victims receiving over £10,000. No fines. No prosecutions. Nobody went to jail. Wilson, meanwhile, has been unemployable ever since. Blacklisted. Living on benefits. Nearly lost his home. The bank that defrauded half a million people kept its licence. The man who exposed it lost everything. Source: @guardian | nicholaswilson_com
