@ATTHelp I need to escalate a service problem and I'm not sure how to do that outside the standard website, chat or support number.

The Vertical Cassette and Belt Bender, used for tunnel rock removal, are set up in Nashville! Conveyor belt loops through the structures, through the tunnel to the TBM, and back. For a 9 mile tunnel, 18 miles of belt is moving. It can remove >33,000 lb of rock each minute!

@J0EBKK @archeohistories Same here, Joe. Started in fourth grade, age 9. I was on a TI -99/4A. I remember writing music (note by note) and my own graphics. When I wanted to draw an Xmas tree, I wasn't happy that the ornaments could only be existing characters. I remember making a candy cane character.

@archeohistories It was cool, I remember I had great time around four decades ago at age 8 playing on it and making my own programmes in BASIC, we stored them on the magnetic cassettes and we used analog TV's as the monitor and that time even didn't have remote controls or maybe with cord only.

A man attempted to transfer files from his Commodore 64 to his Apple computer. 1984... This photograph from 1984 captures a scene familiar to the earliest pioneers of personal computing: a man bridging two worlds of incompatible technology. The Commodore 64 and the Apple II were the flagships of rival ecosystems, each with its own software, storage formats, and technical languages. Enthusiasts who attempted to move data between them were part engineer, part artist, and part hacker. The image shows the creative chaos of early digital life, cables snaking across desks, CRT monitors glowing with blue screens, and the faint promise of a connected future. For those who lived through the dawn of home computing, every experiment like this one marked a small step toward the networked world we now take for granted. The Commodore 64, released in 1982, remains the best-selling single computer model in history, with an estimated 17 million units sold worldwide. © Reddit #archaeohistories

Thank you! I’ve gotten so many kind messages from all over the world, but a lot of people have asked if my pacemaker will cause any problems with FUBAR Season 2. Absolutely not. I will be ready to film in April, and you can only see it if you’re really looking for it.

@demonslay335 Wanted to share that I was hit with the targetcompany-ransomware yesterday and most of my files (all the important ones) were encrypted and renamed with .bozon3.

@DeusDenton @metaltxt Where does something like this even come from? It's like there's adapters you can buy on eBay that's simply are impossible. Like VGA to red and white rca.

@DrEugeniaCheng Let's say you are the dean. If you are a dean without a doctorate I imagine that professors call the Dean by his/her first name. But what if you have a doctorate? Does that automatically mean that everyone should call you Dr. So and so? I have this situation at my school.

Dr Eugenia Cheng --no advice please--
Today a student asked if I would like to be addressed by my first name or Dr/Prof last name. I used to be paralysed by that question but now I answer basically this: "Thank you for asking. The thing is that I think it's an impossible question to answer because...
