@cathaypacific After 4+ hours we got support. We were offered a change for a fare difference of thousands, or full refund. We took a full refund. Connection out of HKG on 23rd just recently cancelled - felt like they wanted to extract every penny from us, or wash their hands of responsibility

Just gets better and better @cathaypacific - on hold for 90 minutes and you disconnect me. When I call back there is a recording to say tough luck, call volumes are high and call back later. Can't change flights on line, you're offering no support and failing in every way

@cathaypacific We got them on the phone, only to be told not to worry, as you will definitely get into Hong Kong. No consideration or concerns for her not being able to leave Hong Kong. They're basically saying they are happy to fly her into what will be a catastrophe. They don't care.

Got to keep calling out the awful @cathaypacific over #TyphoonRagasa - their current plan is to make sure they get my Mom safely into Hong Kong, just in time to leave her stranded there to experience winds guarding over 200km/h. Or charge her €2000+ to change her flights!

Really poor service from @cathaypacific - my Mom due to fly through Hong Kong on Tuesday, during Typhoon Ragas. Change fees waived but not fare difference. Been told will get out of Heathrow, but no concern that she may end up stranded in Hong Kong in a typhoon!?!? Shameful

Disappointing squad from @ManUtd at the Aviva today. Kids travelling from all over the country to see their heroes. No offence but only Fernandez, Eriksen and Sancho in the squad to excite them. OT could have done without full first team yesterday, they see them every week

@CarlowWeather Ripped through our estate. Trees down, fences knocked over, a large 200kg+ gate lifted from it's railing and deposited on the driveway, all just after 12:20 last night

@AIBIreland most ridiculous call ever. Trying to setup internet banking on new joint account, was asked to name a recent transaction - it's a new joint account I don't use yet, I have no internet banking to check last transaction. Told to go to a branch to sort wtf?

@united Cancelled it already. No viable options available to travel with you, last time we will ever attempt to travel @united again tbh. Will pay anything for a competitor that we can depend on

More awful service from @united - first holiday in 2+ years booked last week for April. Flights cancelled today, asked to do another connection, long layover, arrive at midnight. Total bait and switch, alternative options now significantly more expensive than when we booked.
