@PinotPolitics @RedfernRossi I once nominated a guy for President. And he won. Twice. In Ohio. Go Irish. 🇺🇦🇬🇱

Instead of hunkering down in defense and spin mode, it would be wonderful if JobsOhio and its business cheerleaders would actually condemn this scandal and work for protections to prevent it from happening again. daytondailynews.com/local/opinion/…

Did you know that Amy Acton and David Pepper's campaign lawyers—Elias Law Group—are the folks behind the Virginia referendum? The effort may produce a congressional map in the Old Dominion State that favors Democrats 10-1 over Republicans, despite 46% of Virginians voting for Trump in 2024. Wasn't David Pepper one of the Dems crowing about "gerrymandering" when Ohio created its congressional maps? Yes. Yes he was. He once wrote - according to an Ai deep search - (in tweets that have been erased): “The Ohio House not only wants to gerrymander the state…they get mad if people complain about it.” And then saying about the GOP efforts in Ohio to redistrict that it “violates the spirit and language of the Ohio Constitution, and the mandate of 70% of voters who voted to end partisan gerrymandering. Twice.” Ironically, what Pepper is criticizing is precisely what’s happening in Virginia right now – and being ushered in by the DC beltway law firm he and Amy Acton choose to work with. The law firm that is founded by Marc Elias – Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign lawyer and the guy in the middle of Fusion GPS, the Steele Dossier and the Russia Probe. What happened in Virginia last night: the nonpartisan commission (enacted by a constitutional amendment passed by 67.5% of voters) the same type of commission Pepper and Dems pushed for in Ohio (but failed to get with Issue 1) is being skipped over in favor of – you guessed it – a Democrat-controlled legislature drawing the congressional map. A map that will almost eliminate Republican representation in the state. If the principle of gerrymandering is something Pepper – and his running mate Amy Acton – opposes, then we can expect him to rebuff his law firm and denounce their efforts in Virginia, right? Because he’s opposed to “partisan gerrymandering that favors one party,” right? davidpepper.substack.com/p/dissecting-b… #Ohio #OhioNews #AmyActon #DavidPepper

Daily Mail: Former Deputy ICE Director Madison Sheahan invited a 19-year-old female junior staffer into her bed after a Trump campaign party in 2020 and engaged in a secret sexual relationship for two years. Madison Sheahan is seeking the Republican nomination for Ohio’s 9th congressional district that is currently held by a Democrat (Trump +11 | 2024) dailymail.com/news/article-1…

@darreldrowland And that 2004 anti-marriage amendment drove a lot of the GOP vote. And today, it sits there meaningless in the Ohio Constitution.

@IAmGlennonX @VivekGRamaswamy Vivek's flagship economic accomplishment is his pharma company Riovant. Total revenue for the last 3 years is $140 million. The company lost $3.6 billion over that same time frame. That's Vivek in a nutshell. A whole lot of handwaving, not a lot of results.
