@silvirouskin We've all been there in one way or another! I replied to thank someone for their 'kind massage' instead of message. Makes me wonder if dyslexia hits harder with age

So when a mom asks "do you think my [10, 11, 12, 13] year old may have endometriosis" and her symptoms make you think, yeah, it's really possible....you stay up and keep working on the grant proposal because holy cow, this is what MIT people should be spending time on.

@DavidSteensma @elonmusk A bit of a strained analogy. But with what we've seen from SpaceX failure reels, should we be surprised?

DOGE @elonmusk approach feels like a surgeon trying to remove a small tumor using a saw instead of a scalpel, without pre-op imaging or taking a patient history, and also removing organs that aren’t diseased but that they just don’t like. And with med students doing the procedure

Excited to share a great highlight of my startup Plexymer! It has been fun translating technology developed in my lab at Rutgers into commercial activities. Enjoy! research.rutgers.edu/news/rutgers-s…

Speaking of govt spending and efficiency, my favorite example. ONE F-35C jet costs taxpayers $104M, which is enough money to fund 50 R01 grants with 2024 indirects for the next 5 years. That’s 50 labs taking on health questions until 2030, for a single jet, of which we have 1000.
