The Mets fought all the way back from 7-1 to make it a 1 run game. Why would Mendoza go to a pitcher that was knocked around this homestand instead of a pitcher that has yet to allow a run this season?

We are at an inflection point with social media and watching the Mets. There is a toxic mentally ill portion of the fan base that wants to be miserable. They will always be miserable and want to drag your experience down with them. Don’t allow it - enjoy the sport and log off here if necessary

#lgm One thing to consider with the Mets, this is what Clay Holmes is, barely a six inning pitcher, will end up with 90-maybe 95, pitches thrown. Don't be surprised Mendoza plays his bullpen a specific way the game before Clay Holmes start.
