The legendary Sunderland fan that found 4 stranded Forest fans broken down on the A1 and gave them a lift to the game. Love to see it 👏🏻

@forestmad80 We deserve all the pelters we get from anyone. Our club is a mess. We lurch from Nuno to an offensive mind. That fails, we lurch to a defensive mind. That apparently fails. Now we select a manager on a 14 match PL winless run.

Neutral fans/media and naysayers love it don’t they. It does make a great headline with Nottingham Forest looking to appoint their 4th manager of the season but there are nuances behind this stat. In an ideal world Nuno would’ve stayed and built on what we had already achieved. He threw toys out of the pram and wanted his pay off. Ange came in and in truth I actually think he’d have done a good job with a transfer window along with a full preseason but coming in after Nuno style was never gonna work and had 4 away games to begin his tenure. Dyche was only ever a plaster over a huge crevice, he was brought in to ideally see us through til the end of the season. The fact is, the football is dire, he is tactically inept and we will go down if change isn’t made. We don’t know if a change will help, it may well be too late but a rolling of the dice was the only feasible option. Media won’t report on that though as it doesn’t suit their agenda. #NFFC

@Battlemuch4WW I know someone will take the job (if we chose not to stick with VP) but this team will be totally different next season. Sad, because it all seems so unnecessary. The broken NES relationship, led to pushing in offense (AP) and losses led to pushing in on defense (SD). So bipolar.

The problem with continuing chaos is that it doesn’t attract good managers/players. Decent players will want to leave. The cycle starts again. Cooper persuaded MGW to come after promotion. We got lucky with Murillo & Anderson. If we manage to stay up a big reset is needed #NFFC

@ImJamieMartin Our club is a mess. Fire Nuno because he apparently was not in on the Edu project. Hire offensive manager, lose all the games, fire him. Hire a defensive manager, win games but be inconsistent, fire him. Hire a manager who could not make it with Wolves, hope they are a savior.

If Vitor Pereira is going to come in, motivate this group, build a culture, and great the fight needed to just keep us up, I’ll be happy. Four managers in a season, I’m embarrassed. But at this rate, let’s face it, we are desperate. Let’s hope Pereira can get the best out of these lads, even if it is just till season end… #NFFC

Common response this re: Forest. I’d agree, with the players Forest have, they should score a lot more goals, but not sure it’s quite as simple as your explanation. Fair to say there was little threat v Arsenal but still had 40% of the ball, had less of the ball v City but were more of threat and it was not a ‘backs to the wall’ performance - they put 3 past Spurs with slightly less possession, and - believe it or not - had more shots on target than Villa did in that 3-1 loss. They had more possession and more shots on target than Everton (h) and in the 1-2 win at West Ham, 50/50 possession with Fulham but more shots on target Even on Thursday they had 5 shots on target to Braga’s 0. One of their problems is not taking the chances they do create, hopefully Lucca will help with that, although I wouldn’t expect too much too soon
Garry Smith@garryz92

@adamsummerton Easy to fathom. We are good at backs to the wall defending but no clue how to attack and score a goal.

@AnalyticsForest Thank you for seeing this accurately. So many are blaming the manager, but but most of this is player error not bad managing (not to say Ange is flawless, of course!)

Can’t really blame Ange today, he’s got so much right but players have let themselves down in the big moments, the small details. We’ve been better than Chelsea, but they’ve delivered in those moments. #NFFC

@nffc_ohio @CombustionCV Look guys. I love you. You're Forest in my home state. But Ange out is not the way ahead. We have not been a really good side since Man City last spring. Hang in...@NFFC is a good side, but we have to sort out first.

@paulmorley19 There are a lot of mangers now considered iconic for their teams who started off slowly. The thing is, we are playing well, but not taking chances.

Rather than reply to each comment, I’ll do it here and make it abundantly clear; I am NOT comparing Ange to Cloughie in the below comment. What I AM comparing/questioning is the difference in public reaction to their comparatively slow starts as #NFFC boss 50 years apart.
Paul Morley@paulmorley19

Brian Clough won just 1 of his first 13 games in charge as permanent Nottingham Forest manager. Thank fuck there was no such thing as social media in 1975. #NFFC
