Deadly global warming is accelerating dramatically. What's the new rate? 0.27°C/decade? That'd be bad enough, but.. it's more like 0.4-0.5°C/decade. For 29-70% of Earth's species these are Unsurvivable Times. Change this Extinction Economy now while it's still too late.

As scientists around the world sound the alarm about the possibility of a global, deadly #AvianFlu pandemic, they consistently fail to recommend one strategy that could drastically reduce the risk -- eliminating the dystopian factory farms where the #H5N1 virus can easily spread and mutate into a strain that can be transmitted among humans. Factory farms (and slaughterhouses) are a scourge - destructive to our health, the planet and the animals. That is why scientists, #PublicHealth officials and world leaders should be promoting a mass transition to #plantbased food systems. Hi again, Mike. Glaciers have been in retreat for more than 20,000-years. During most of that time, they melted at a faster rate than today. For much of this planet’s history, there was no polar ice. We are in what’s called an “interglacial period.” The prefix “inter-” means to be between something, in this case, we are between glacial maxima. There’s supposed to be less ice. Rest easy tonight. 💤

@UPS I spent 4 hours on hold with y’all to update our credit card for brokerage fees, even though we already changed it on your website. And then you hung up on me. Why do you make it so hard for us to pay you??? I’ve now spent 6 hours total on hold. Terrible service.

We often forget how little most people know about the cruelty on factory farms. This new investigation recorded standard pig industry practices, yet the most upvoted comments show shock and anger.
