Here's what made it catastrophic: The hallucinated cases looked PERFECT: ✓ Proper legal citation format ✓ Realistic judicial reasoning ✓ Specific page numbers (F.3d reporters) ✓ Plausible holdings ✓ Judge names and dates ChatGPT even generated fake excerpts when asked to verify. The lawyer had no reliable way to detect the fraud.

🚨 A lawyer cited 6 fake cases from ChatGPT. Got sanctioned, fined, career damaged. Now courts require "AI disclosure" but NOT AI verification. You're liable for hallucinations you can't reliably detect. Here's the legal crisis nobody's prepared for:

It is quite something to put “Dr.” in your display name and “Doctor” in your username when you have a Ph.D. in renaissance literature.

So now murder is justified because health insurance companies don’t cover things they’re not obligated to? And doesn’t this come under life insurance rubric, not health insurance?
