I'm not sure it's possible to describe being given a cancer diagnosis unless you've had one but I'll have a go in case you're supporting someone. I haven't experienced anything quite so hard to process; it's like the life you are living just stops, time stops. All your hopes and dreams disappear but you're scared to visualise new ones. Fear and hope become an infusion. Living looks harder than dying. Even drawing on decades worth of recovery feels inadequate. Dancing endlessly between strength and collapse becomes an hourly activity. Chemotherapy is starting soon which I'm desperate for and terrified of in equal measure. I'm hopeful I'll recover enough to live a life worth living, but I can't be sure. I think that goes some way to describing it #myeloma #livingwithcancer

Yesterday in school we had a session called vertical grouping. The whole school is split up snd sent to the different subject leaders, so I had 30ish children from across the school. I've then got them for 40mins and can use the time to pupil conference, look at books, 1/3
