What that lets me know is that we possess something that is so intimidating, so threatening, that people want to harm us, belittle us, humiliate us, and try to strip away our joy, our lives, and our very being. Every year, the reaction to Pride content in sports spaces is baffling. Being LGBTQIA+ isn't political. AT ALL! No one is forcing beliefs on anyone, and attending a game during Pride Month doesn't mean your kids are being "taught" anything any more than any other theme night. It's simply a time to recognize, support, and celebrate a community. By now, you'd think people would understand that. If you’re still being this hateful in 2026 it’s truly disheartening and embarrassing.
