Very happy that this project of ours is finally online. All people and visitors in Tirana can now use Google maps to navigate the city’s bus network. We are also working with the city to make information available at bus stops, provide real-time info etc. @TUMInitiative @giz_gmbh

Tirana will invest €1 million to build 20 “school streets” in 2024, which redesign corridors around the needs of kids and their carers. This will double the number of such interventions, and get it 40% of the way towards its goal of protecting every neighborhood school by 2026.

HUGE: @CityOfTirana is showing up for kids, announcing a 1 million euro investment to expand its school streets program to 20 schools in 2024. For comparison, 762k was the largest single year investment in its rapidly expanding cycle network, back in 2019. @Qendra_M
