Phew! I made it to Heathrow on a bit of unfortunate day in London. Took a cab to the Lizzy Line to avoid Central London overground. Everything underground was pretty deserted.

.@LindsayHoyle_MP Dear Sir Lindsay, Helen Whately is misleading the House. No one EVER got a Motability car for tennis elbow or acne. She presents no evidence because there is none. She is lying to whip up hatred of disabled people. Please refer her to the Privileges Committee.

@railLKB @DesignedByBlind Berlin is better than most (all?) German cities. They had good building regulations in the past. Not anymore. It’s postcode lottery in Germany.

@Christiane @DesignedByBlind I'd be interested to see how you get on in Berlin! Having just been for the first time last week, I tried by best to spot good Step-Free access, but it was lacking is *certain* spots, of what I saw (but I wasn't specifically looking out for it).

Fixed the bracket of my Triride display with @designedbyblind. Phew! Berlin without my Triride would have been a bit annoying.

@HeldinEU The point with Amazon is, 90% of their drivers are decent and reliable. If anything goes wrong, Amazon solves it within a minute even from most weird 3rd parties that sell on their platform. So I buy more and more there too because it’s hassle-free and I don’t have to carry it.

XL Amazon delivery to evil neighbours. They have this constant flow of parcels coming in. How much stuff do you need?

@Christiane Just to update you - we’ve reviewed the wording of the announcement and made some changes, which will be deployed early next week. Thanks for raising it and giving me the opportunity to look into it and make a positive change.

Revisiting this, on a long distance train and within 3 minutes of leaving origin there’s 3 separate announcements: 1) Telling me about CCTV, 2) Telling me to treat the staff with respect ( why do we assume most wouldn’t ) 3, See it, Say it.. That’s before the calling points.
John Till@JohnTillUK

Travelled quite a bit by rail over the last 72 hours - when did our railway become so negative in terms of announcements? All I’ve heard is tons of messages about everything I can’t or shouldn’t do or shouty human announcements barking orders at customers. We’ve got to get better

Remember the Charing Cross incident? Where the train was in, staff told me to wait for the ramp at the platform, I positioned myself next to the door and then they dispatched the train? SouthEastern have sent this offensive communique.

@Doug_Paulley @Se_Railway This is not acceptable Doug. I apologise unreservedly on behalf of @Se_Railway. An investigation is underway. This is a train dispatch irregularity as well as a failed assist. Our team will be in touch with you.

@poemanyone @flowergirl_lon And that shouldn’t be the case. Everyone can die tomorrow. If everything fails it’s the state / council’s job to prevent homelessness. No ifs or buts.

@Christiane @flowergirl_lon I don’t know the ins and outs of this sad case but for sure parents of disabled children spend their entire lives worrying about and trying to organise the lives of their kids after their deaths. It is a very serious problem.

.@networkrail's station lifts API - which shows which lifts are broken - has itself been broken for a month. That means that my site (stationlifts.org.uk), @nationalrailenq's access map, and any other service which shows lift status have been completely wrong since 14 April
