NEW from @nytimes: Netanyahu embraced a plan by the Mossad chief to ignite a regime change uprising in Iran for a quick victory. He used it to help convince Trump to start the war — despite doubts among some senior US and Israeli officials. It was a critical flaw in war plans.

This is what a war crime looks like. Whatever military value the bridge in southern Lebanon had is vastly outweighed by its value for civilian transport. Israel's destruction of it is the war crime of disproportionality. x.com/ZeinakhodrAlja…

Even Israeli sources admit this happened (jpost.com/israel-news/ar…): Iran managed to hit both Dimona and Arad, the two towns flanking Israel's Negev Nuclear Research Center, one of the country's most strategic sites, in 2 separate strikes. Which shows just how bullshit Trump's assertion yesterday that the U.S. has "completely degraded Iranian missile capability, launchers and everything else pertaining to them"(x.com/RapidResponse4…). Perhaps the most insane aspect is that Iran telegraphed weeks in advance it would hit Dimona in retaliation for the US-Israeli attack, as reported by Israeli media (timesofisrael.com/iran-threatens…). So you now have a situation where the U.S. and Israel, even despite ample advanced warnings of an attack, cannot defend one of their very most strategic locations. Raises the question who's actually "completely degraded" here...

DAMN. Dramatic footage shows moments when an Iranian missile directly impacts in Dimona, home to its nuclear facility.

Lebanese medics are adopting strategies as they know they are targets: — Not seeing family or friends so that if they are bombed, they don’t take their loved ones with them — Reducing team sizes — Sleeping in ambulances far away from each other so a single strike doesn’t kill them all

Israel deliberately targeting medical facilities in south Lebanon, say health workers. Medics and officials say there is systematic use of double-tap strikes in campaign to make the south uninhabitable. theguardian.com/world/2026/mar…?

Commenting on this strike, the Israeli military said “an explicit warning had been issued regarding this area” and that civilians should stay away. Human rights experts have said repeatedly that even if the Israelis declare an evacuation order for an area, it does not mean they can strike civilians. They still have a legal obligation to protect civilians, which journalists are.

🚨A paramedic in southern Lebanon responded to a strike on a home in the town of Bazouriyeh, doing what he has likely done countless times before - rushing toward destruction to save whoever might still be alive. When he arrived, he realised it was his parents’ house. There was no one to save. “They’re gone… my mother and my father.” The cruelty of it is unbearable. He spends his life racing in an ambulance to save others. But he could not save his own. This is what Israel’s war does. It doesn’t just kill. It turns those who come to rescue into those left to mourn.

Israel has expanded its strikes into central Beirut, killing 12 on Wednesday. A journalist and his wife were killed. An empty residential building was flattened. "When a President describes sinking ships as 'fun,' when allies are blindsided and friends humiliated, when the reasons for war shift with the news cycle and the global economy buckles—the question is no longer whether the destruction is intended or careless. The question is whether anyone, anywhere, still believes that American power comes with a sense of responsibility attached," writes Bobby Ghosh time.com/article/2026/0…

Yesterday, Israel targeted the home of Lebanese journalist Mohammed Sherri, killing him and his wife and injuring his grandchildren. Sherri was the head of political programs at Al Manar TV. While the channel is affiliated with Hezbollah, it remains a media outlet licensed under Lebanese law, and Sherri himself was a civilian. Under international law, this constitutes a crime. Predictably, there will be little to no outrage among many journalists. He was Arab, Muslim, and held views they oppose, apparently sufficient, in some eyes, to render his killing acceptable. #IsraeliCrimes #Lebanon
