@dmitriid Hatemongering is cool for engagement farming, just leave Prime's name out of your efforts please.

Becoming an influencer does something to your brain. This guy worked at *Netflix*. You know, one of the shittier apps out there continuously boasting about their gazillion microservices. I wonder how many commits per day *they* have.
ThePrimeagen@ThePrimeagen

The Spotify who has a podcast interface that was designed by an 11-year-old with crayons? No analytics, I still can't understand how to get to it half the time How about you just ship one commit a day to production but make it actually good

this is a perfect example of understanding the very basics of a problem and having no idea what it takes to create the real thing little piece of advice: every time i go "oh this should be easy" i have been wrong. Did this for 20 years now. You are wrong, just too ignorant to understand why. That is ok! Its what keeps people learning and becoming better is the "this should be easy" -> "holy shit, i learned alot" I would ask questions as oppose to insult then ask for a job, its really not the move you think it is

This dude doesn't seem to understand that it's possible to set up an enterprise-level infrastructure orchestrator failover/failback system for less than $5/year using a serverless function cronjob for the health check and pub/sub.
David Cramer@zeeg

@datmicahfr lol or maybe no one is capable of setting up other solutions so we had to invent complexity Fortunately i am skilled enough to actually understand the tradeoffs

Bun v1.3.14 releases tomorrow. If we do merge the Rust rewrite, this would be the last version in Zig

Says the channel that made a 20 minute video about “senior” folder structure, all of which was wrong. There are few channels that are more an anti signal than WDS. I’ll never care about what he has to say. Absolute scourge on the minds of beginner devs. I’m thankful the algorithm and audience both realize how useless his content is. He should keep his mouth shut and make better content.

Drizzle v1.0.0-rc.1 is out 🚀 ▪︎ Effect v4 native support ▪︎ JIT row mappers to reduce ORM overhead to ~0 ▪︎ Reworked casing API (breaking change) ▪︎ Drizzle for LLM agents (preview) Drizzle is now as fast as using raw driver and mapping(or not mapping) results by hand 🙃

Go Dean!
Kobie sync/acc@k081e

At @powersync_ we're obsessed with our customers. We are nothing without them. When it comes to supporting customers, companies typically have a "Customer Success" team that is the primary interface with customers. However, we're a devtool company and our CS Engineers need to be first-class engineers to work with customers effectively. We've also learnt, from over a decade in the devtool space, that your CS engineers have some of the best product insights. When we needed to create our CS team for PowerSync, we decided to flip the script: we created a Product Success Engineering team. The idea being that our CS engineers would contribute to the product directly (as in merged PRs). This has been working really well for us - they've been contributing extensively. The recent step change in agentic coding capabilities has just accelerated this flywheel - today we released a new Sync Diagnostics Client in the PowerSync Dashboard built by the PSE team.

We shipped a Rust SDK for @powersync_ Keep your backend database (MySQL/MongoDB/SQL Server/Postgres) synced with on-device SQLite. Use it to keep your fleet of autonomous robots in space synced with your Master Control Center.

@jordwalke I'll meet your statement and raise you: all apps should be reading from local copies of their state too.
