@Mohsine_Mahzi @Conor_D_Dart @OpenAI /goal is completely broken for me. consumes quadruple the tokens over doing tasks without it, and often struggles with implementation, instead it spend 3 hours to randomly 'audit' my tickets, despite it previously working. burned 25% weekly usage to audit fucking tickets.

@Conor_D_Dart @OpenAI I confirm. /goal in codex with 5.5 xhigh just ignored my instructions and made terrible shortcuts to deliver an output quickly, failing to accomplish 90% of the tasks required, which were the reason why i used the /goal command.

I feel like GPT 5.5 isn't the same anymore. Putting 5.4 just fixed the issues I had, so I am telling you there is an issue with 5.5 whether @openai knows or doesn't. But us - the customers are smart and we notice the little changes. Things changed 3 resets ago. 5.5 on launch was king of the hill.

draggable page container height adjustment. i hate having to scroll through a tiny little corner. i don't even touch the elements, just give me vast amount of pages more space. saved shadows would be awesome, shadow sets so i don't have to keep reapplying the same 3-5 shadows to something every time. i'd like to pester you every day until it's done, but it's the simplest addition to add, would take 2 minutes to code, and would make the experience much nicer.

Man I love @paper so much but its missing so many little things that makes it difficult to work with. Hopefully more will be added soon, and I can finally push my team to adopt it.

so i've been trying out @cursor_ai for the first time. to summarise the experience; it's slow as fuck and grinding to work in. would absolutely not want to spend 8 hours a day in it without wanting to throw the pc out the window (or bash my skull against the desk repeatedly - give it another three days of having to work in it). the app performance is terrible, chugs ram, and simply takes far too long to swap between chats, docs etc smoothly. it's fine for an hour, but the repeated delays become exceptionally grinding over time. which is a shame, because composer 2.5 works well enough. maybe they should run their thermo nuclear code review on it, and fix the performance asap. they've got a unique bridge here to wrap people in, yet it's ruined by being so slow and unusable. definitely not a 70 billion $ app rn.

i'm a big fan of subagents in codex for large project tasks. it's faster, more efficient. not a fan of long /goals. they seem to take absolutely forever, and consume far too many tokens. i've had a goal running for 12 hours now, which i'm absolutely convinced i could have done in 2 if i'd just sat there manually with it and assigned it subagents instead.

@ashleybchae it's $20 bucks ashley. but instead you feed the algo slop to get some boost to your monetization charts.

@alexwtlf post on new app sites, chase the ranking, promote on x. why though? that's not where my users are. it just ends up being a dick waving contest for devs to promote to other devs.

Build in public is dead. every time you ship something cool, 100 copycats appear the next day. or a seed startup just releases your exact feature. at this point, builders are just doing free work for people with better distribution

@tibor_tee @Senpai_Gideon @cursor_ai switching from a doc in side panel back to chat is the worst thing rn. it's unfortunately too long to feel comfortable if using long hours every day. those delays add up and become a mental drain.

the app desperately needs some performance improvements. it's super chuggy, even on a high end cpu/gpu, 64gb ram. actually getting to the point now where using cursor is slightly frustrating due to it's slowness, and takes like too long to switch panels and chats etc and is the main reason i keep just going back to do things in codex, despite composer 2.5 probably able to handle the tasks i'm throwing at it.

@rezoundous not only that but once you've set up wranglers and mcps, you basically don't even have to even ever actually look at it. it just does things. 10/10. (this is a joke btw, of course you should double check the dashboard)... maybe.
