I’m sorry, but I’m not gonna be nicer about this. Neocon boomers are mortgaging my generations future by amassing trillions in debt, turning America into a pariah on the global stage, and getting our troops killed for another failing war. I have to watch these neocons lie about the state of this war on TV every single day. Then, the moment I push back and assertively ask, “hey, what’s the actual goal here?” I have a legion of neocon boomers telling me I should know my place. Or I should wait my turn to talk with the grown ups. Fuck that, genuinely. I’m not claiming to have all of the answers or be all knowing. But young people deserve a seat at the table to fight for our interests as well. 95% of media is made up of boomers in suits who created these problems, and being nicer isn’t going to fix them.

A new Ukrainian air defence system has been unveiled. Yesterday, some of the 58 Shaheds intercepted in western Ukraine were destroyed by AGM-114 Hellfire missiles launched from trailer-mounted STASH systems. Cheap but effective air defence is critical for protecting the skies.

Friends, a few weeks ago I wrote that I had taken my sewing machine in for repair… Unfortunately, no miracle happened. It can’t be saved anymore. I truly hoped until the very end that it would be fixed. It had been with me for over 7 years… It literally fed me, it was a part of my life and my work. Now I’m left without my main tool, the one I depend on to work and make a living. It’s really hard for me… So now I’m facing a big problem — I need to buy a new sewing machine. This is what it looks like when you’re critically out of your depth, yet still trying to speak about things you have absolutely no understanding of -- things you neither care about nor even grasp, because they lie far beyond the horizon of your knowledge and your thinking. Go ask those questions to your Russian counterparts whether they should keep grinding hundreds of thousands more of their own people into a bloody pulp over a few square kilometers of territory. And no -- you are not smarter than the Ukrainians who have been fighting for years over those “few square kilometers” in Donbas. It means nothing to you but for people here on the ground, the Sloviansk–Kramatorsk area is the largest defensive stronghold, fortified and prepared for battle for over a decade, and one the Russians have been trying to break for just as long, including four years of full-scale war. What looks like a stupid inconvenience to your boss, something standing in the way of what he imagines will be profitable deals with the Kremlin, is, for Ukraine, the main defensive line protecting the country’s heartland from a deeper breakthrough. Ukrainians refuse to surrender it not because they are less clever than JD Vance, but because they understand exactly what the consequences would be and what the word of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump is worth. And that’s not even getting into the fact that this is the homeland of hundreds of thousands of people, their homes, their land, which they would be forced to abandon. It’s about abandoning our own people and their hopes, about a nation and its sovereignty, things that are often absent from this kind of discussion. You see, people here in Ukraine are dealing with matters far more serious and consequential than posturing in front of TV cameras, talk this delusional arrogant BS, and acting as a rally agitator for a corrupt authoritarian in Central Europe that your boss likes very much.

The TSA and ICE situation is incredibly suspicious. I have to travel tomorrow so I’ve been following this latest manufactured disaster by the Trump administration. ICE agents are being deployed to airports to help with the TSA shortage due. Over 400 have quit because they can not afford to work without pay. Who can? Lines are stretching 3+ hours at major airports during peak spring break travel. At the same time, CLEAR, a biometric identity company, is expanding biometric facial recognition eGates across 37+ airports. CLEAR's platform also operates at Home Depot, Uber, LinkedIn, and stadiums. Home Depot already discloses sharing biometric data with law enforcement. IYKYK. Each piece of this situation appears to have a plausible standalone explanation, but infrastructure built for "convenience" and "efficiency" can be repurposed. I don’t trust any of it. IMO I think it is a covert way for ICE to detain individuals. → ICE agents placed inside airports → Biometric identity infrastructure expanding rapidly at those same airports → Commercial biometric platforms already sharing data with law enforcement → All happening while the workers actually trained in aviation security go unpaid The question is whether we're building systems with adequate guardrails or whether it's a surveillance pipeline disguised as customer service. I'm going with the latter. Worth watching. Worth asking questions about.
