The Standard Issue White Guy
@ChuckLumley
If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

@Perrywinkle1267 That’s what happens when you have to work for almost every single bucket.

I do think there is something to the fact that teams playing against Minnesota are just physically exhausted come the 4Q.
Kalshi Hoops@KalshiHoops
Players with the Best 4th Quarter Plus/Minus this Playoffs: • Julius Randle (+33) • Jamal Shead (+30) • Duncan Robinson (+24)
English

@SpursCulture I said that from day one. The -14.5 opening spread was just insulting to a team that has been to the wcf two years running, and just beat the 3 seed with essentially your backup’s.
English

@jrborman13 That’s what happens when you’re managed all season, playoffs are a different beast altogether.
English

@sxharw That’s a great way to approach it, Minnesota is a bad matchup for the Spurs.
English

@RealTomPetrini It’s irrelevant because they took an L.
English

@WildOn7th Sounds like Brodin and Ek are both done for the entirety of the playoffs according to Lou Nanne.
English

@SPURS_POWER @SportsWithJay0 The only stat that matters is w’s. The rest is irrelevant if you don’t win.
English

@ChuckLumley @SportsWithJay0 That’s it! That’s all that matters!
English

@SportsWithJay0 All Minnesota has to do is hold serve at home and it’s over.
English

@SPURS_POWER @SportsWithJay0 You don’t need to dominate, you just need to have the lead when the clock hits double zero.
English

@SportsWithJay0 No they won a desperation game while depleted… they never dominated at any point and gave up a fourth quarter lead
English

@AlbasValtrexRX @jasonwhitlock Portland hasn’t been to the wcf the past two years, that was a play in team.
English

@jasonwhitlock He does. But, it’s one loss and he will learn from this. They dropped a home game to Portland too and were just fine…
English

@jasonwhitlock Again, when you are forced to play hard at both ends, and you are playing past your normal managed minutes, your legs go, leading to missed shots. He missed because he had to work his ass off all game, and he was noticeably tired. Great game plan by Minnesota.
English

@MaximeAubin1 That was almost exactly how I figured that they would attack him. They managed his minutes all year, he looked tired at the end. Plus Minnesota can toss several bigs at him as well. This is not a good matchup for San Antonio.
English

Wemby’s blocks do end the possession a lot of times though. That’s his best strength: not only blocking the shot, but recovering and keeping the ball. On his 12 blocks last night, the Spurs got it back 8 times.
Attacking him like that did tire him out though. That’s for sure. Wemby just kept going at it.
Chris Hine@ChristopherHine
This sequence sums up the philosophy … “Who cares if Wemby blocks the shot?” Blocks don’t end the possession.
English

@LegionHoops @DaneMooreNBA Finch made a great adjustment, screening him out so he couldn’t block shots.
English

Jaden McDaniels on Wemby:
“You just gotta act like he's not there. I mean, he's gonna get blocks. He's the tallest person in the world.”

English

@RunItBackFDTV @TeamLou23 @ChandlerParsons @MichelleDBeadle @imanshumpert The only stat that matters is the W, you’re in the playoffs.
English

Chris Finch can complain about goaltending all he wants...
Wemby's 12 BLK night is still one of the best in NBA Playoffs history 💯
"This counts for me." - @TeamLou23
"Getting him in foul trouble is Minnesota's only hope." - @ChandlerParsons

“It shouldn't come down to the last shot…They lacked the sense of urgency and tried to win it in the last two minutes which shows their youth and inexperience and immaturity…”
Former Spur Danny Green on San Antonio’s loss to Minnesota.

Amy Klobuchar 3.0?
Regardless of political leanings, why would anyone vote for @amyklobuchar for governor and think that she would do anything different than she has always done?
Isn't it time to change the way Minnesota government is done?
