@VOTEHEPBURN Actually it’s worse than that. Our city has 370K adults according to census. We have 173K registered voters. Let’s say 35K turnout to vote, that’s actually less than 10% of the adult population who will select the city’s next mayor 🤯

@ChuckWalterFL Sad but not really crazy when you think about it. More than 80 percent of our population do not participate in our local elections or even interact with it. And less than 1 Percent of our Registered Voters have ever donated to or volunteered with any candidates here in our city.

Would you look at that! The Marlins ability to develop players has brought them out of the cellar without having to spend any money. The MLB is the most data driven sport there is, and the data matters as much as money. This is why I dont really care for a salary cap.
