A few years ago, I gave Ryan Cohen the benefit of the doubt, thinking he could improve GameStop's dilapidated e-commerce operations using his background building Chewy and hiring executive talent from Amazon, turning $GME into a bigger and better platform.
I was wrong. Cohen utterly failed. GameStop's website and operations have been a disaster under his leadership.
Take the under. This $EBAY thing isn't going to work.
WSJ: "In the interview, Cohen said putting his videogame retailer and eBay under one roof could create huge opportunities to cut costs and improve earnings."

It's exciting- I love the huge swing to become an Amazon competitor
Based on RC's proposal, if $EBAY accepts the offer I expect a short lived drop to $15-18 to adjust for financing and dilution shock mixed in with natural fear and speculation selling.
Once that is done and my target of $18 has hit, the sky is literally the limit on how high this can go.

My stupid Sunday predication. When all is said and done I believe, $eBay shareholders will receive 3 new $gme shares per 1 owned eBay share and roughly $50-$60 cash (funded by new debt and gme cash). We will issue new shares and the total outstanding will be roughly 1.3-1.4B shares for the combined co. Once everything settles and everything being equal, barring any craziness or unexpected catalysts, a price of $35-$40 would be a stable post acquisition price.
The ceiling past a stable price has asymmetrical risk with the upside having a high ceiling and the downside risk low. This play really defines everything Ryan has publicly said about his approach to GameStops cash hoard.
I am stupid and not an expert this is just my thought.
