Let me educate you my brother, There are roughly 230,000 Malawians living in South Africa, making them one of the largest migrant communities there, yet they are repeatedly exposed to violence whenever xenophobic attacks erupt. Why are there so many Malawians in SA?Malawian migration to South Africa is rooted in formal labour agreements from the 1960s, including recruitment through WENELA and later TEBA for the mining industry, and it has continued for decades, even after the 1974 Francistown air disaster, when a plane carrying Malawian migrant workers returning from South Africa crashed shortly after takeoff in Francistown, killing 74 people and prompting a temporary suspension of recruitment. Also, Malawi and SA are tied through regional trade under SADC, with Malawi importing about 493.71 million US dollars’ worth of goods from South Africa in 2024 while exporting about 62.13 million US dollars. This means our economies, our workers, and our traders are structurally intertwined. So when violence breaks out, Malawians are not outsiders caught by chance, they are part of a long standing economic system that benefits both countries. Therefore, a Malawian President who stays silent in the face of such attacks is being negligent. Protecting Malawian lives and defending regional solidarity is a fundamental duty of leadership!

While everybody in Malawi is worried about fuel, Mr Mphande is worried about the civil war between the Xhosa, Zulu, and Vendas in SA... This future president needs to reassert his priorities...

@Nglmia_x Struggling to understand how this is racism. 2 strangers connected over mutual interest-rap music. There's no point twisting this into any other negative agenda. Let's all learn to live life & leave drama

A Black guy once told me his funniest racism story from China, and honestly… I still think about it. He lived in China for a year and said the racism there was very blunt sometimes ignorant, sometimes openly hostile. One day he was on a train in Beijing when someone suddenly shoved an earbud into his ear from behind. He turned around pissed off… and it was a teenage girl grinning at him like she’d just met a celebrity. Then she said: “I like rap music.” He said he was too stunned to even react. And the funniest part? The song she played him was… Eminem. Not even a Black artist. Just full confidence, zero awareness. She ended up asking for selfies with him, he laughed, took the photos, and they went their separate ways. He said it was one of the only times racism made him laugh instead of angry.

@Apply_logic_ @Siya_Nonkosi @PempheroMphande And the joke keeps writing itself 😂 From slavery to apartheid to slavery. Y'all can't even save yourselves even if you wanted. Anyways the foreigners will keep owning you, & there's nothing you can do about it, except loot a few shops in the slums (only place you are allowed)

@Ade_Nurayn Comparing the sahel state revolution to this no state Islamist attack on a sovereign state shows your bias. It's well not to like the AES, but don't conflate issues just to score points.

2 years ago when ECOWAS wanted to deploy military action against the military coup in Niger Republic, we saw how a lot of Nigerians whipped up all sorts of lies and threats against its then Chairman (President Tinubu). They went about harassing him into eventually talking ECOWAS out of the resolution. Some of us saw the future and warned about the dangers ahead. But opposition members and emergency experts in geopolitics in Nigeria were everywhere pushing all kinds of narratives against ECOWAS and its then Chairman. One of the narratives then was that Nigeria has no business trying to invade a sovereign nation. The question now is, are Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger Republic no longer sovereign nations?

Nigeria shouldn’t standby while the Sahel literally collapses before our eyes, their stability matters greatly to us.

@AppauBenjamin3 But of course, even junior doctors won't prescribe if the senior orders an unsafe medication. It's part of keeping patients safe. You aren't special if you as a pharmacist do the same. You also can't question a correct prescription. You aren't as responsible as the doctor!

You’re so ignorant and proud on top of it. Come to the USA and find out that Pharmacists can refuse to dispense prescriptions issued by the Physician if they can question the legitimacy and validity, scope of practice and exercise professional judgment based on patient safety.
Dr Scarface📍🩺@king_pearxe

A medical doctor will write out a prescription, and a pharmacist will refuse to give it. A medical doctor will write out tests and investigations, and a medical lab scientist will refuse to do it saying it's too many tests for one person. A nurse will come out and tell a neurosurgeon That hope it's not this brain he uses to cross the road. Once you're a medical doctor in Nigeria you're already in trouble

@Apply_logic_ @Siya_Nonkosi @PempheroMphande If you werent busy spreading HIV when your mates were in school, you would have known that people travel for various reasons including business. That's why MTN,an SA company has business in other countries. But Ur an oaf, more interested in spreading virus than helping yourself

@Chudy1st @Siya_Nonkosi @PempheroMphande I literally live in Orania, whatare you on about?🤣 You’re lippy for a hungry international orphan. Who owns land in your native country and why isn’t it benefiting you since you had to tug your tail between your legs and run to a white country, see how useless you really are🫠

@Apply_logic_ @Siya_Nonkosi @PempheroMphande 😃 Funny you think you aren't a slave. You can't own land in Orania. (I will bet you can't actually afford it) Foreigners own almost all your country. Umfana, you are a slave, 2nd class citizen in SA. Even your women prefer us. 😃

@Chudy1st @Siya_Nonkosi @PempheroMphande And I ask you, who is owned in South Africa to begin with? This is very telling of the kind of country you’re from, you ran away from your master and now have a little bit of freedom in a white land. Wait til you eventually commit a crime and see how they’ll deal with you.

@Winter_Six But still it's a state styled military. How ,who, what is backing these militants? Can we all agree the Islamist agenda is merely a smokescreen for their true agenda.
