Genocide has a precise legal definition under the 1948 Convention and Rome Statute. When patterns of destruction, intent, and statements of officials align with that definition, politicians have a duty to say so regardless of their own political allegiances. Michael dismissing it as “prejudice” says more about his prejudices than anyone else’s. The evidence and expert opinion is clear - there is a prima facie case for genocide.
