@EZebroni RJ is on the hunt for more of other people's money for runway. He basically sold Uber The Brooklyn Bridge. Or that actually exists... He sold them hope and a dream.

@gregmushen @mihai_vie You are literally citing a study where the participants have type 2 diabetes (one foot in the grave). Yes I agree for people with self inflicted sugar intolerance ( type 2 diabetes) walking after a meal would help.

No, that is not correct. Walking after a meal is one of the highest leverage things you can do for your health. In one study, a 50 minute post prandial walk was more effective than Metformin alone for type two diabetics. It doesn’t have to be walking, but anything to activate GLUT4. If you are skeptical, get a CGM, then try it yourself. You will see.

Post meal walks. 15 minutes. 3-4x a day. That’s 200-400 calories burned and 6-8k steps without thinking about it. Blood sugar stays stable. Digestion improves. Leaves you with a clear mind. And you never have to remember to do it because you never forget to eat. This is how you make metabolic improvements on autopilot. Low hanging fruit

@mihai_vie @gregmushen To go further, walking up and down 10 flights of stairs after every meal will move the needle more than walking. Walking does nothing for people already in decent shape. I do 15-20k steps a day. Steps are meaningless long term.

@mihai_vie @gregmushen Anyone in even average shape will get near zero benefit from that water or walking after a meal. None of that will move the needle for all but the morbidly obese. It's great advice for the most obese people.

@ChunkOfTheStars A hundred million? I could run a department of 2 + me for a million. We were developed relationships with new agencies and not have to spend nearly as much time denying anything.

Yes. An effective proactive and reactive PR team is a must. PR teams at every other major company have relationships with every major news company and can get ahead of any story. Most people don’t know this, but with the right relationships, news companies reach out to the company that is subject of the story well before the story airs to get additional details, reactions, and even negotiate timelines, responses etc.
Gary Black@garyblack00

@Zlatko31311 I’ve said it before and I will say it now: $TSLA needs to think long term and invest in a credible PR team to control the narrative.

Paper towels can contain BPA, chlorine and formaldehyde Be very careful exposing hot food to them I recommend drying hot food on a stainless steel wire rack, and using a good unbleached paper towel when possible The ones from Sprouts rate very highly on @oasishealthapp

Another travel day personal story. In 1971 my parents immigrated to New Zealand. I was one years old and shortly after they arrived, they had my sister. For whatever reason right after my sister was born, they decided that it would be cool to adopt a baby. They get on the waiting list and were told that it could be years. So imagine they’re surprised when a couple of weeks later they get a phone call from the adoption people and were told that a baby was available. According to the story, my mother didn’t even hesitate and said we will take it. They said oh you might want to hear the details first, my mother says no I don’t need to. We will take it. It seems that a New Zealand chick had an affair with a Vietnamese, dude who was there for school and had gotten pregnant. And had decided to put the baby up for adoption. This is New Zealand in the early 1970s, mixed race babies, especially Asian were super rare. Finding placement for him, wasn’t easy. However, the hospital thought that my weird hippie parents might be a good fit. My parents didn’t give a fuck however and that baby became my brother. But that’s not the end of the story… A year and a half later, out of the blue the adoption agency calls my mom again. They weren’t even on the list. This time it was a baby born to a woman who had an affair with a black American serviceman. Once again they were having problems finding placement and they remembered my crazy mom saying we will take it. So imagine, my mom is at home, my dad’s at work, she gets a call that there’s a free baby, and she doesn’t even ask my dad. She just tells them OK we’ll take it. As kids were piled in the back of a car, no seatbelts, of course, drove to the hospital and brought home, my sister. My earliest memory is bringing her home from the hospital. I think because we were raised in New Zealand for our early childhood, it made us sort of immune to the cultural weirdness that our family was. I don’t think my brother and sisters could be any closer if we were quadruplets. I should write a book.

So the starting material for the supplement you're putting in your body every morning is the same precursor used to make artillery shell explosives. And your takeaway is... we need to make more of it domestically? Not one person stopping to ask whether they should be consuming a product synthesized from munitions chemistry. But sure, let's onshore the supply chain. The cognitive dissonance in the health space is alive and kicking.
AJAC@AJA_Cortes

Cyanamide is the starting molecule for both creatine and nitroguanidine (the explosive in U.S. artillery shells) same precursor, two different branches of the same chemical tree US production of cyanamide is currently Zero. We need to onshore this supply chain, fast

@spotted_model Living in an anti-EV state, not many people have L2 chargers at home. I always see a few Teslas around the holidays that belong to visitos. I leave a note on their windshield letting them know they can L2 for free at my house. Nice to know I can charge them now. 😎

@BoomerDivvies It's going to take 100+ years for volatility to dampen BTC value is derived from the halvings. In 2140 is the final halving. After than no more BTC will be mined. Miners will make fees for validating transactions, that's it. When that happens, the price will stabilize.

Bitcoin hit $76k on Tuesday. Bitcoin hit $69k today (Thursday) Moving 10% in two days is why Bitcoin will not become the currency standard and why it’s struggling now to be a proper store of value. Will it settle down to become less volatile and more reliable?
