I didn't watch any MLB today, but after seeing a few clips, there are a few things that are clear for this season: 1. It couldnt be a worse time to be an ump. The game went from an acceptable level of error, to dont you dare miss a 97mph cutter by more than .25 inches. Unsure which is the better option. 2. Salvador Perez is the man and knows the zone like nobody else. And he'll be the first person to say to show respect, apologize and show up the ump every game, in that order.
