There’s a guy who bothered me recently and I reported him to my father. The first thing my father asked was did you eat his money? Did he buy things for you and his now requesting for things that you don’t want to give him? My reply was no and then he said good, send me his number, I’d take it up from here! In their tributes, the Governor, the Minister of Defence, the CDS, and the COAS described the fallen soldiers as true patriots who stood firm in the face of danger and made the ultimate sacrifice so that others might live in safety. They noted that their bravery and sense of duty will continue to inspire generations and remain etched in the nation’s history. With heavy hearts, prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of their souls, while citations detailing their service and sacrifice were read before their next of kin. The grief of their families underscored the human cost of the nation’s security efforts, even as their courage remains a source of pride and honour. As the nation mourns these heroes, it is reminded that the freedom and stability enjoyed today come at a profound cost, paid by brave men who placed duty above self and gave everything in service to their fatherland.

I might get piled on for this, but I don't see anything special to fuzz about here. This is FOUNDATIONAL GEOMETRY, meaning it's taught somewhere from Primary 4 up to early secondary school (JSS2). If you look up JSS3 mathematics textbook, you'd see the topic listed under "Revision" in the first pages before the curriculum meant for JSS3 or so. Guessing her age, she should be in secondary school 🤷. What else do I expect a child in secondary school to know and to be doing? If she's not solving questions, reading her books, studying like a bastard, what should she be doing? Tiktok? She probably would be taller and older than I was when I learnt to handle basic geomtery and deal with angles, parallel lines and all. The level of praises feels like we don't expect kids to know anything these days. Is that how bad society has become? I mean as a parent or individual, I'm happy she is on the same page with her teachers, but to exaggerate what I just watched the way it's done sounds like she's doing something NASA should be doing. No! She's only doing what she's been taught at her level. We should return to a functioning society so kids can learn and excel.
