I welcome the Court of Appeal's decision to stay the execution of the Federal High Court judgment seeking the deregistration of our great party, the ADC, and four other political parties. It is particularly significant that INEC itself initiated the application for the stay. The disturbing spectacle of judicial contradictions and politically charged rulings playing out in our courts has placed the judiciary under intense public scrutiny. As ADC National Chairman, Sen. David Mark, rightly observed, the judiciary itself is now on trial. Any attempt to undermine Nigeria's hard-won democracy through judicial manipulation is a grave danger to the Republic. If our democracy suffers further injury, history will demand accountability from those entrusted with dispensing justice. The judiciary still has an opportunity to redeem itself by standing firmly on the side of the Constitution, the rule of law, and the Nigerian people. -AA

To all Media houses - I did not quit. I did not step down. - Correct your headline I fought for my senatorial ticket to the very end. A flawed primary was conducted and someone else was declared. I reject the narrative that I "quit." What I did was choose, for the greater good of the party and the nation, to accept a flawed outcome rather than tear the NDC apart when a bigger fight looms. The 2027 presidential election is the prize that matters in this electoral cycle. I am backing the better candidate in that race. That is where my energy belongs. Let no media house rewrite history. Correct your headlines. Posterity is watching.

The NDC were told to hold their party primaries. But they decided to hold a general election. To count Peter Obi’s total number of votes in his consensus primaries, the NDC had to mount megaphones on top of vehicles. The counting was so loud, people could hear it from a distance. The lines were scary & endless Massive crowds filled different fields across the nation. At one point, I began to pity the men who were counting the votes. Drones were deployed to capture & monitor everything. And before the candidates could arrive, the crowds were already making their choices known loudly & clearly. Nigerians are fed up. People don’t have four years to give to APC. Give it to the NDC, I did not witness a single fake counting. It adds another feather to their cap. They are now the only Democratic Party in Nigeria. From close observation, Peter Obi pulled over 12 million votes. The decision was unanimous. The counting was transparent. GO AND VERIFY, Nigerians are fed up! 👏👏

I cringed while watching this video. Nigerian men are enabling rubbish. This woman got "separated" from her husband, she left her matrimonial home and went to her village for a while. On returning back to the city, she shamelessly went back to her husband's house, the same husband whom she has allegedly gotten separated from. She went back, not because there was a mutual reconciliation but rather because she can't afford to rent and furnish a space of her own as she would like it to be. She went back to that same man's house and even had the audacity to be setting rules and marking boundaries. Nigerian men, who bewitched you? Obviously, she had zero input in the house she has been living in with her husband. She definitely doesn't even have an idea of how much her husband is paying as house rent, else she won't be surprised at the prices housing agents were giving her. The husband rented the house and furnished it. The only thing the woman probably did was to move into the house with her few clothes as at the time they got "married", otherwise she wouldn't have said anything about the need for her to buy bed, mattress, gas cooker, washing machine, fan etc. In my understanding of her narrative, one thing is certain; the woman has already left the man in her mind. She only went back to his house to be sharing space with him for the time being, pending the time she would be buoyant enough to leave. As soon as she is able to afford the lifestyle she wants or when she sees another man who is able and ready to fund it for her, she will definitely leave the man for good. I just hope the man won't come back to cry on the podcast. Dear men, women don't just walk away from a marriage overnight. They would have mentally switched off at least a year or more before physically walking away from that marriage. When your woman says she is leaving, please let her go with alacrity. The worst mistake of your life you can make is to be begging her to stay. If she leaves, never make the mistake of allowing her to come back into the house. Begging a woman to stay or allowing her to come back into the house after she has left is more or less like you postponing your teary days. This is an old 2018 video (recirculating now) from a US park. The man was the park manager dealing with a 10yo boy (in yellow shirt) who was allegedly vandalizing cars, taunting/swearing at adults, pushing & punching him after being told to leave. Manager tried calling for help & de-escalating first, then grabbed the boy's throat & pushed him down. Police reviewed footage, called it justified self-defense, asked if manager wanted charges (he didn't). No arrests or further action for anyone. Names never public, no updates since.
