I know how good Scottie Barnes is as a player and I acknowledge the limitations aswell. He is not an offensive engine. I don’t know if he’ll ever get to that level on O, but what I can comfortably say is you will always need a Scottie Barnes level of player on a winning program and team and he can be a Pippen. The main issue with this team is you don’t have anyone better than him on O to warrant saying why isn’t he getting the ball. He’s a better decision maker than all these guys with the ball in his hands and your best bet to having the “system” on this team work. Yes you’ll need a better scorer as a lead 1. Hence why I would entertain offers in the offseason because I don’t think they can get that next to Scottie here. If they could they’d be a real contender, but if they can’t you’re better off getting a Haul and rebuilding fully from ground up. This doesn’t offset the fact that they didn’t get the ball on those mismatches to him though. Thats terrible process from the rest of his teammates
