This 2v1 shooting game by Dusty May simulates a slot-to-slot pass in early offense. This works on your decision-making in the 2v1 situation. This is a common advantage in basketball. You can see the rim is always protected, so players have to find a ROB (range, open, balance) shot from behind the three-point line. The game encourages this. This 2v1 game teaches players to play with Domino’s principles, such as zero-second decisions, where players have to shoot, drive, or pass in less than one second to hunt ROB silver medal shots — corner catch-and-shoot 3s. What are other ways coaches can constrain this game to work on different principles?
