@ChrisCinciBiz His statement is not only openly racist, it's complete nonsense. He's trying right to claim he was right on his disastrous vote, but also right now since he's calling for an end to the war. Classic political, have it both ways nonsense. Just embarrassing.

I asked Landsman's office whether it was safe to say he would not vote for $200 billion the Pentagon said is needed for the war. No response yet. Link in the next tweet.

Ossoff: Was it the assessment of the intelligence community that there was an imminent nuclear threat posed by the Iranian regime? Gabbard: The only person who can determine what is and is not an imminent threat is the president. It is not the intelligence community's responsibility to determine what is and is not an imminent threat. Ossoff: It is precisely your responsibility. This is the worldwide threats hearing where, as you noted in your opening testimony quote, you represent the ic's assessment of threats.

@BengalsKorey My family has had season tickets since the Benglas started. Grandpa started the account, passed to my mom, and then passed to my brother and I about 10 years ago. A lot of lows and a few highs, but we've stuck with them. If they chase Burrow out, we're done.

@JUSTERIC__ People are rightfully freaking out because this was supposed to be "all-in" and it's not close. Need 2 DEs, S, DT, and an LB at LEAST + CB depth and swing T upgrade. We completely whiffed at LB and got lucky at DT. If MN doesn't cut him this FA is an absolute failure.

My 4 things I look at to assess who I think can be successful in NFL are less “stat” driven - I look at: 1) True Accuracy - which is not even a complete-able pass but how consistent a thrower is, in terms of the ball being close to the receiver (and where it should be placed)… to me this is better than completion % bc it shows consistency! I see too many QBs miss badly when they miss & that is the biggest indication of someone who is not truly accurate IMO 2) Pre & Post snap processing - QBs can know on snap the coverage & quickly find the right receiver to get ball to OR you can follow their eyes and see them work through the play post-snap by seeing defense & finding right guy 3) I love 2nd level throws (12-35 yrds) - but this is so touch at college level bc guys can be wide open or some teams don’t have talent to create opps down the field as much as others - so it’s a case by case basis - but this is something the best NFL QBs have to do well! (I feel every NFL QB should be able to make short & deep throws) 4) Handling pressure - having a pressure plan, standing in face of pressure with solid feet and delivering, throwing ball away when needed, not panicking, etc… one of most important factors at the highest level Things like TDs, INTs, QBR, etc… are WAY too team/player driven at college level for me to think it’s a transferable stat!

@GridironGrading This has to mean we can't take him at 10, right? Maybe trade back and hope he falls to late teens or early 20s, but can't do 10.

@JakeLiscow @BengalsTalk There is nothing that can make this off season successful at this point. It's just basically mitigating the damage. This will easily be the least confident I've been going into the season since 2021. But, hey, we went to the SB that year so 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Just to wrap up my thoughts before I start distracting myself again for a while: I really like the Mafe and Cook acquisitions! But like I said in our day 1 recap, they were far from done to be "successful" and now that path is harder to find
Jake Liscow@JakeLiscow

Wanna know why? The longer I've stewed on the Mafe structure, the worse it sits with me. Year 1 cap hit unnecessarily large, AGAIN. I called it cap malpractice with Tee last year Kneecapping themselves from even doing midrange deals to raise the level of the roster and compete

@infinite_jaz @GregLandsman He's my rep. Just an unimaginable betrayal. His support for the atrocities in Gaza were enough, but this takes it to a whole other level. He also supported this double tap of a school. Horrific stuff.

@ByYourLogic @hasanthehun All money aimed at supporting foreign interests in our politics should be suspect, but J Street shouldn't be lumped in with AIPAC and DMFI. They support a two-state solution snd their president has said he doesn't object to the atrocities in Gaza being labeled a genocide.

The Democratic plan is to give a fig leaf to voters by finally shanking AIPAC back after years of AIPAC humiliating the party. Then J Street and Democratic Majority for Israel will fully assume their duties but free of the toxic public image. Don’t fall for it
Jewish Insider@J_Insider

Sen. Chris Van Hollen took aim at AIPAC during an address at the opening plenary of J Street’s convention in Washington and accused it of being un-American. @GSDeutch reports: ji.news/4tcq5

@RepGregLandsman sucks, but I think this angle slightly misses the mark. He's a true believer. These heinous votes he's casting and ridiculous, insanely stupid positions he's taking are his real, actual stupid beliefs. But he's still gonna take that sweet, sweet AIPAC money!
The Lever@LeverNews

Rep. Greg Landsman is one of the only Democrats backing Trump’s war with Iran. In a tough New Yorker interview, he struggles to explain why — saying he doesn’t trust Trump but still supports the military operation. What the interview doesn’t mention: AIPAC is his top donor.
