As of a couple months ago, over 2,500 airplanes already have Starlink installed, according to SpaceX (includes private planes, business jets and commercial aircraft). That number is likely a decent bit higher now.

Construction will start soon on a new $225 million @Tesla Megapack battery energy storage system in South Australia. Commissioning for the 200MW/800MWh Koolunga battery is scheduled for September 2027. Equis Development is developing the project and will act as its owner and operator.

Starlink supplier sees satellite internet topping 100 million users in 2 years, and 200 million in 4 years. The estimate comes from STMicroelectronics, which develops “front-end” antenna modules for Starlink dishes, including the STM32 chip. In December, the company touted its "decade-long" partnership with SpaceX, which has included co-designing custom components for its dishes. "We have now reached down to only several tens of US dollars per user terminal, which makes the user terminal much closer to a consumer-like device,” STMicroelectronics President Remi El-Ouazzane said “In practice, it has helped transform satellite broadband from an expensive and niche offering into a mass market product.”
