ARMY POINT OF VIEW FROM A HELICOPTER FLYING OVER A COLLEGE FOOTBALL STADIUM. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 AMERICA.

One solution for America's birth rate crisis is to encourage and support young couples marrying & starting families while they're in college. College classes are just a few hours each day - plenty of time left for parenting and & studying. Late night wake-ups with a baby are no problem for college students who are used to pulling all-nighters. Mom and dad can trade off childcare - one studies while the other parents. Mom can also study during naps, breastfeeding, or audiobook walks. A small apartment is fine for a young couple with a baby and toddler. On-site college daycares can offer flexible childcare, letting student-parents drop off their children for a few focused hours of studying when needed. It's doable - let's make it normal.

Ben Sperduto, 46, and Emma Quintana, 44, both from Ybor City, are Gasparilla typicals who decided they wanted to make a statement this year, writes our reporter Nick Villamil. “We needed to come and say something,” Ben said. “We felt weird ignoring what is going on in Minnesota and the rest of the country.” Some paradegoers stopped to take pictures with the couple. Others heckled them. Follow our #Gasparilla live blog: tampabay.com/news/tampa/202…
