OP is annoyed about the scores and everything. the person i was replying to did later clarify "entirely discount their opinion" and i agreed with them. i just think its normal to check what else someone has watched before u read a review

I genuinely do not care about this. The internet is a young man’s game. You have to accept that 15-20 age demographic is gonna like “new horror movie” more than Citizen Kane and just hope they get appreciation for stuff later. Its numbers on a database site

we agree on that. i said "see i kinda agree but you’ve trailed off here" cause i did think i understood ur main point. i think if someone has seen all of the most recent modern horror films they can give a very meaningful take on modern horror. they are just bound to be limited in the critique they have of other movies. i obviously wouldn’t say "treat them like idiots" but you can discount their opinions

It is ridiculous to ENTIRELY discard someone’s opinion because they haven’t done the “requisite homework.” Perhaps the scope of someone’s critiques won’t be complete but that does not render them incapable of making meaningful comments

@DUSKdev There comes a point where it goes too far and Call of Duty passed it years ago. Fortnite and its consequences have been a disaster for the games industry
