Today in #Mogadishu, the SRCC and Head of #AUSSOM, Amb. El Hadji Ibrahima Diene, met with a delegation from the Centre for Civilians in Conflict (@CivCenter), led by Africa Director @Viabisimwa, together with Senior Advisor, #PoC & Humanitarian, Amb. @SidikouMaman, East Africa Board Chair, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) @byhaji2020, and Country Director Somalia-Kenya, @ahmedvision1. Discussions focused on strengthening joint efforts in #ProtectionOfCivilians in #Somalia, including harm mitigation, early warning, risk analysis, rapid response and community engagement. The meeting also addressed accountability and compliance mechanisms, joint operational standards with Somali Security Forces, and continued training to keep #PoC central to mission planning, coordination, and execution.
