Today I worried about keeping my healthy infant cool on the hottest day of the PNW summer w/out air conditioning. I cannot imagine what it is like to have to seek medical treatment for a child suffering from cancer, on the streets, in brutal heat, amid the threat of bombardments.

Even before current conflict in Sudan broke out, Sudan did not have a central comprehensive death registry or common system for issuing death certificates. @HRL_YaleSPH is working on pilot project to collect more accurate mortality data but little funding. We need this data now.
