@ARanganathan72 Don’t get too obsessed with letters of support. No one knows when Vijay’s government might collapse. 😅 Tell Vijay that this is not a movie, it’s real-life politics and he probably knows very well who the Chanakya of this politics is.

@manickamtagore First check properly whether 118 is confirmed or not. It doesn’t look good to keep going to the Governor House again and again and then returning without forming the government. This time send Rahul Gandhi along with Vijay too.

You always say this happened that happened and you are constantly against the government. But why didn’t you make a video saying that in a democracy the public mandate should be respected? According to that mandate Mamata Banerjee should have resigned and then the Governor had to take those steps. Where were you then? Why didn’t you say that this was against democracy and that Mamata ji should accept the public mandate and resign? But you won’t make videos about that, because such videos won’t get you many views, and if there are fewer views, you’ll earn less money too. 😅

@abhishekaitc Now please stop this crying Abhishek ji. Even Mamata Didi has accepted that she is no longer the CM. Mamata Didi also knows that in a democracy the one whom the people vote for is considered the winner. So now, please stop playing the democracy, democracy game. #oathceremony

Abhishek Banerjee
Abhishek Banerjee@abhishekaitc·
We have fought an extremely difficult election where nearly 30 lakh genuine voters were allegedly disenfranchised from the electoral rolls. Throughout this entire process, we witnessed what we believe was deeply partisan conduct by several government agencies as well as the Election Commission of India. Democratic institutions that are meant to function impartially appeared compromised, raising serious concerns about the fairness, credibility and transparency of the electoral process in West Bengal. From the counting process to allegations surrounding the handling and movement of EVMs, Mismatch of Control Units, several disturbing incidents have left millions of people questioning whether the true mandate of the people has been respected. I have already demanded the release of CCTV FOOTAGE FROM THE COUNTING CENTRES and a transparent counting of VVPAT slips so that the truth can come before the people and every doubt can be addressed openly and honestly. Democracy can only survive when electoral institutions inspire trust and confidence among citizens. Unfortunately, what we have witnessed has deeply shaken that trust. At the same time, reports of post-poll violence, attacks on party offices, intimidation of our party workers and threats against supporters are deeply alarming and unacceptable in a democratic society. Many dedicated Trinamool workers and supporters who fought tirelessly on the ground have allegedly faced targeted attacks and have been forced to flee their homes out of fear and insecurity. No political worker in a democracy should ever have to choose between their safety and their political beliefs. Keeping the democratic traditions of this great nation above everything else, my colleagues and I in the Trinamool Congress will continue to stand firmly with the people of West Bengal and with every Trinamool worker who fought tooth and nail against what we believe was a compromised electoral machinery. We will continue to be a strong, vocal and uncompromising opposition both in Delhi and WB. Under the guidance and leadership of Mamata Banerjee, our fight for democracy, constitutional values and the rights and dignity of the people will continue without fear and without compromise. I urge every Trinamool supporter and worker to stay strong and united during this difficult time. If anyone has been subjected to post-poll violence, intimidation, or threats, I request them to reach out and share their details with me or DM me. I will do everything within my capacity to ensure their safety and security and pursue every available legal and democratic remedy. I will stand shoulder to shoulder with every Trinamool worker and supporter in this fight to ensure that truth prevails and that both governments now work genuinely in the interests of the people of West Bengal. Jai Bangla! Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

@sagarikaghose @Emat_Haider @KolkataPolice @MamataOfficial You must know that Mamata Banerjee had once spoken about law and order and said that girls should not go out after 8 PM. Even then, despite being a woman, you said nothing. But now you are worried about someone who has been CM for 15 years?

Abhishek Banerjee is this some kind of joke? You are talking about democracy? You are probably the biggest comedian in India. A person who himself said during election campaigning I will deal with them after May 4 is now talking about democracy. Maybe he has realized that nothing is going to happen now and whatever you have done in the last 15 years, you will have to answer for it before the people of Bengal. So don’t start crying already you will get enough time to cry later. By the way let me remind you Amit Shah was also in Bengal when you were saying all this just thought I should mention it.

Even if no BJP MP is present in Parliament on Rabindranath Tagore’s birth anniversary, BJP has truly celebrated his birth anniversary today on his land. Today, it has given Bengal its first BJP Chief Minister who will take Bengal forward and carry forward Rabindranath Tagore’s dreams.

Not a single sitting @BJP4India MP present today at the floral tribute ceremony in Parliament on the birth anniversary of Kaviguru #RabindranathTagore . No Speaker of Lok Sabha present either. For @BJP4India grabbing power in Bengal matters more than Bengal. Tagore is only an election weapon for @narendramodi -@AmitShah . For @AITCofficial Bengal remains our eternal beloved motherland and Gurudev our pathfinder, our sage. Joy Bangla.

The people of Tamil Nadu have given a mandate to Vijay, but some smaller parties that do not even have many seats are still demanding major positions like Deputy Chief Minister in order to control him. However, Vijay should wait for now avoid coming under anyone’s pressure, and present the claim to form the government only at the right time.

Vijay bhai let it go this time when it comes to becoming Chief Minister. Repeatedly going to meet the Governor despite not having the majority you already know you don’t have the numbers, so what exactly do you go there to laugh and joke about? Wait for the right moment. Go only when you have majority support secured. This is not a movie; this is real-life politics, where everything has to be handled carefully and managed properly.

A hurdle has emerged in Vijay’s swearing-in! According to Lok Bhavan sources, Vijay is still short of the majority mark. There will be no swearing-in ceremony tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has refused to extend support. It has two MLAs. The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), which also has MLAs has not yet submitted its support letter either.
