A terrible way to end a few terrible months. Lots of health problems in my close family, and at the start of the stage my grandmother passed away. My Nan raised me as a mother figure in my life all through my early childhood into my late teens, and she was literally my number 1 fan. At the great age of 86 she would watch all my matches, and curse at the enemy team when I died or lost - even tho she had no idea what was going on whatsoever. Such a bright soul. Not a reason at all why we dropped out here in the playoffs. The team was a great place for my mind to seek comfort in. I wish we didn’t have to take some time off, because we were on a fantastic streak and playing great. But it definitely will be welcomed to reset my mind a little and focus on family. It was my intention to write this tweet qualifying to EWC, and put a “good” end to this shite chapter. But that wasn’t the case. Very disappointed in myself and the opportunity I’ve missed.
