Thank you for all the feedback and discussions over the past few days. In 2024, airdrops are extremely challenging. Sophisticated industrial farms operate millions of bots indistinguishable from real people in behavioral patterns. This renders traditional activity-based airdrops completely useless for building resilient and sustainable communities. Our airdrop design is unconventional and has its imperfections. But we are proud of the path we’ve chosen and believe we made reasonable tradeoffs. We are rewarding hundreds of thousands of people, creating life-changing opportunities for many of them. We also recognize that many people are upset, having received less than they expected. We don’t take this lightly. We spent several days and nights looking into reports and double-checking data, to understand the full picture and eliminate any possible mistakes. We did not identify major issues, but we also recognize that our communication about the nuances of the airdrop design was not clear enough. Average Max Cap is usually implement to ensure the rich doesn't have excessive governance power They raised Max Cap to as high as $50k in order to farm most of their user's tokens with their liquidity criteria.

@KushtiaBitcoin @Caneleo55 If they distributed as low as 11% fairly, everyone will be happy. But with the liquidity criteria that enabled them farm their own airdrop, even if 50% get distributed, we'd end up in this same mess.

@KondeMayuresh The greed is just too much.. after allocating about 3.6B tokens to themselves, they still want to takeover what they should fairly distribute to their community for governance.

i have checked the blacklist from hop protocol which was used for $hop $arb $op and few other drops seems like zksync didn't care about this list for $zk there are lists from hop protocol over 100k addresses I just checked one list out of many with 5000 blacklisted addresses the first 800 addresses there were still some eligible for 899.542 $zk tokens 👀🤯

@DeFiChronicles Really surprising. Like why give few users over $50k to dilute 3.65B ZK with majority of the community either ineligible or having Min allocation? @zksync @TheZKNation Over $50k airdrop is unnecessary when you have more than 6M users. $15-20k Max Cap accommodates majority.

This zkSync drama is getting too toxic, so this is my last tweet on it I'm just pointing out the reality, not trying to get your airdrop slashed. Take a deep breath, read the tweet, and be happy Despite being an avid user, I didn’t receive the allocation I’ve held around $3k on-chain for 15 months, provided $1k LP on SyncSwap for a year, $500 on EraLend (which got hacked last year) and maybe $100-$200 on zkSwap I’m a top-ranked player on Tevaera Top ranked trader on Satori Yet, some folks who started 5 months ago with $32 in LP are receiving 50k zk Maybe my wallet is considered sybil? It's 3 years old and has Arb, Pyth, Manta, Mode, Zeta, HMX, and many others Guess what? I even got zkSwap airdrop, Hold, zkApes, yea, all of them are on zkSync And then there are the stats that “don’t matter” If using many dapps on zk was bad, why brag about the number of projects on-chain? If too many transactions were bad, why celebrate ATH in total txs? I provided LP, but disqualifying people for not providing is kinda crazy, it’s a blockchain, not a restaking platform. And then there's the team lying: - No min balance required but it was - Sybils aren’t demons; they should be rewarded (yup, co-founder said it) - We will use Nansen to filter, but they didn’t. There are around 130k flagged sybil wallets on L0 eligible for zkSync - Fair distribution? 68% of the entire airdrop was claimed by less than 2%. Think about it, governance is decentralized by 2% If you pause for a second and really dig deep you can see that it wasn't proportional There's a guy with 10 txs and 3k on chain that got max allocation while I know someone that had 12k in LP that got 37k allocation A little bit a transparency would be cool, I mean, that's why we are in crypto, it's all about transparency That's all I wanted to say, God bless y'all 😙

😬Calling out team @zksync 👇Here is how to fix this 🪙Total supply - 21B 🪙Total Airdrop - 3.65B 🪙Airdrop to users - 3.25B 👥Current eligibile wallets - 696k 👇Changes suggested 👥Include all the wallets which meet at least one criteria 👥Approximately - 1.3M users 🪙Allocate 500 $ZK to every eligible wallets 🪙Total minimum drop to eligible wallets- 650M $ZK 🪙Remaining 3B tokens can be allocated to all wallets based on your wallet holding, multiplier etc etc 🤯3B is still great amount of tokens 😁But we r making 2x users happy 🧢Reduce maximum allocation from 100k to 50k or 75K ✅This way everyone get decent portion of share in 17.5% 🤯17.5% allocation of total supply in TGE Airdrop is remarkable, but if many r not happy, u should consider changes in allocation 😁I don't have any problem if u reduce my 100k allocation to 50k 🙂Community, do u agree with this? @Caneleo55 Why 100k ZK as max allocation when it could have been about 20k and fairly distribute to the rest to at least up to 1m users. Can't believe @zksync could mess this distribution up.

top allocation shouldn't be this big this is not fair it should have been max 10-20k $zk imo
