@LNER what on earth is going on? - no updates from the train manager on the delayed 13:50 service from Newcastle to London Kings Cross - we’re over an hour delayed - not going anywhere. Currently just past Thirsk station.

@LNER on packed Edinburgh 12.20 to Kings X. Its 100 degrees! Stop start train, now at Thirsk. Very little communication from staff. Passengers will start passing out soon in heat. Please instruct staff to communicate!

@LNER can you please confirm, in simple instructions, what the passengers on the 12:20 Edinburgh to Kings Cross stuck at Thirsk should be doing - “get on a train northbound” isn’t good enough! What time, what platform - more info is a must!

@LNER It’s seems noone knows what’s going on, a train has approached but there’s no way all those passengers are getting on the train! Absolute disaster on your part, just not good enough!
