25 years ago, a bold idea took root: that Africa deserved rigorous, Africa-led research shaping its own future. From a fellowship programme to the continent's premier research-to-policy institution. From a handful of scholars to 180+ researchers across the continent. From under $1M annual expenditure to a portfolio of 150+ projects in 40+ countries.....But our proudest milestones aren't just numbers. Stay tuned as we celebrate 25 years of growth and impact. #IamAPHRC #WeAreAfrica #SilverJubilee

You can be ambitious and fully at peace with where you are right now. Ambition is about direction, not dissatisfaction. You can want more without suffering over what you don't yet have.

"Humble me, Lord, when my pride gets louder than your grace. Remind me that everything I have is because of you. Help me stay grounded, kind, and grateful. Teach me to lead with love. To listen more than I speak and to always choose humility over recognition" ~ Anonymous To a blessed Sunday🙏🏽

Today we celebrate our Board Member Ms. Stella Ayo-Odongo, proof that you can fight for child rights, social justice, and smart policy and still make it look almost easy. She brings heart, sharp thinking, and serious impact to the table every time. Happy birthday Stella, cheers to another year of purpose, progress, and changing lives, with a little cake along the way.

I don’t get why moms can’t just rest when they’re at home. They’re always onto something, looking for work that doesn’t even exist, going up and down. This is after complaining, “I don’t ever rest in this house.” Please stay in one place 😭😂

So many of the great heroes of the Bible started in small, humble circumstances. Esther, lived in a foreign land as a persecuted minority. Moses tended Jethro’s sheep and goats. There is a lesson for you and me in that. We need to be the best we can be where we are, passing the heart-test of faithfulness.

The generations coming after us don’t deserve to inherit lukewarm faith. Our kids, and every young believer watching our lives, need to see what full devotion to Jesus looks like. Your obedience, your surrender, and your “all in” lifestyle will shape their future.
