My name is Oyinlola. I’m a Data Analyst who helps businesses and organizations fix unstructured systems, turn messy data into clarity, and truly listen to what their data is saying. I’ve been inactive here for a while…
No more. ‼️

Dear lady... Until you master the art of communication, you'd never have someone who will love you for who you are. In fact, your regular ”God when” and ”am I a spoon” would linger for ages until you can communicate well. I was talking to a girl a while ago and this is what it looked like. She: Hi Me: Hi She: Fine Me: (I just locked up and stopped responding to her) What in God's name was that fine all about? Fine as a response to Hi. God abeg o 😂💔

@javier_otieno1 I think the strongest brands aren't for everyone. They're clear about who they are, and that's exactly why the right audience stays.

What Happens Before a Data Consultant Starts Building Your Dashboard? Here’s what the process typically looks like when I’m brought in as a data consultant for an organization. • The client reaches out. When working with a consulting firm or agency that’s delivering a project for their own client, not directly with the end client. I ask for the project brief or requirements document. If I wasn’t part of the stakeholder meetings, I need documentation that explains: The business problem The project objectives Dashboard or reporting requirements Expected deliverables Timeline (if available) • I review the requirements. This helps me understand the scope of work, estimate the effort involved, identify any assumptions, and determine whether I can deliver what’s being requested. • I prepare a proposal. Depending on the engagement, this could be a financial proposal or a technical and financial proposal. It typically includes: Project understanding Scope of work Deliverables Timeline Assumptions Commercial terms Pricing • The proposal is reviewed. The client evaluates the scope, timeline, and pricing. Sometimes there are negotiations before both parties agree. • The contract is issued. Once everything is agreed upon, the client sends over a contract. I read it carefully to make sure it reflects what was discussed, especially around deliverables, timelines, payment terms, revisions, and responsibilities. • The project begins. After the contract is signed, work officially starts. From there, it’s all about executing the project, providing updates, collecting feedback, and delivering within the agreed timeline. This is generally the process I follow before opening Power BI or writing a single line of SQL.

Every business has a plan. Then scenario analysis comes in with: Okay... but what if the plan doesn't go that way?

@Delightbeauty7 I keep a record of challenges I've already overcome. I will go back to it and remind myself that I've handled uncertainty before with God on my side, and He will handle it again

Africa has never lacked innovation. What we’ve lacked is enough rooms where builders, creators, founders, and innovators come together to shape what’s next. I've seen inside businesses across 4 countries. Same problem every time: drowning in data, starving for the truth. So I'm building the fix, in public. @frivikhq, a data & AI consulting firm, out of Africa, for businesses everywhere. Come with me. #buildingFrivik

Hello #datafam, Here's my submission for the July @ZoomCharts 4U Reports Challenge. I built a 3-page Power BI report that transforms thousands of employee data points into a connected workforce story, from headcount growth through engagement to termination reasons.
