It does actually bother me a little that I lost so many left-wing followers. I’m friendly, open, artsy, intellectual - everything should appeal to them.

Not even the stupidest thing I’ve done to impress a girl, once I was working as a book binder, and I used a hot glue gun to burn a smiley face on the back of my hand while grinning unflinchingly. The girl looked horrified and I scored no points and I still have the faint scars :)

This is a proper South Carolina middle country accent. Compare it to Fritz Hollings (Lowcountry) and Strom Thurmond (more up country sounding). Governor McMaster sounds similar because he’s from the same region.
