Is there a SINGLE UK journalist who will do what I have done and go up and down today’s march against the GENOCIDE in Gaza and actually report the TRUTH? TRUTH: These are NOT “hate marches” They are marches for justice and against GENOCIDE The marchers are the BEST of us

Rayner has been cleared, but the media ran 30 front pages in total, averaging 4 front pages a day during the peak of the story. Farage's £5 million gift has had two front page stories. Why would there be such a difference in reporting standards for the two?

Ben Habib to Paul Thorpe on donations to Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson from foreign based billionaire Christopher Harborne, "Christopher Harborne had always told me that he wanted Brexit.. He donated £14,000,000 to the Brexit party" "Then we discover this £5,000,000 payment that Farage took in 2024" "In 2023, the same Christopher Harborne gave £1,000,000 to Boris Johnson" "And he also paid Nigel Farage £1,000,000 in 2022" "The 2019 General Election was sewn up between Nigel Farage, Christopher Harborne and Boris Johnson, and it was a monetary deal, that's how I see it"

UK HEMS - a very different profile compared to the "average" US HEMS program. Also, not mentioned, there are zero single engine helicopters used for HEMS in the UK. (<4% of US HEMS programs staff with physicians) emj.bmj.com/content/43/5/2…

The total waste of money Royal Commission into Bondi Attack refuses to hear from peak Palestinian advocacy group. hmm ... “The refusal to hear evidence that distinguishes anti-Zionism from antisemitism creates the very real risk of turning this [royal commission] into a one-sided process rather than a genuine inquiry, with very serious ramifications for those who have been excluded, and more broadly, for the Palestinian struggle for liberation.” theguardian.com/news/2026/may/… #IsraelIsATerroristState #FreePalestine #auspol

Remember, always, that Murdoch’s NewsCorpse pays no tax in Australia. None. Zip. SFA. Hasn’t for years. Any lecture on tax from a Murdochracy rag is drenched in hypocrisy.
Doug Cameron@DougCameron51

The promoters of greed, neo liberalism and division are out in force. Labor takes a modest step to egalitarianism, fair taxation and building a good society and the Murdoch press hyperventilates. Jim Chalmers can do much more but this is a start. Labor must stand firm.

The fact that there’s more noise about Zack Polanski not paying some council tax on a narrow boat, than there is about Nigel Farage taking a £5m bribe to run as an MP….confirms that it’s pretty fucking impossible to have functioning democracy AND a billionaire owned ‘free’ press

On behalf of their client, Zara Sultana, Bindmans Media and Information Law Practise Group requires that I publish the following statement on X, and that such statement must be clearly visible and pinned to my profile for a continuous period of no less than 24 hours: “On 30 March 2026, I published a post on my X account addressed to Zarah Sultana in which I stated that she encourages and incites violence and is friends with terrorists. Those statements are false. I was wrong and offer my sincere apologies to Ms Sultana for the harm and distress caused to her.” It is my very great pleasure to do this, and I reiterate my sincere and repeated offer to meet with Miss Zara Sultana in person to resolve our differences.

Palantir has been granted “unlimited access” to NHS patient data. This is the same company that is involved in mass surveillance and genocide. We did not consent to this. Get Palantir out of our NHS, now.

A reminder that #Farage's undeclared £5,000,000 is his 18th such offence since becoming an MP. And 8 such offences when he was an MEP. Anybody else would be in jail by now.

Horrifying. Israel bombed a residential building in Toul, South Lebanon. Paramedics rushed inside to save civilians trapped under the rubble. Israel waited for them to enter. Then dropped another bomb on them. Israel is hunting down and assassinating medical rescuers.

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…
