Are we doing this “you didn’t build this” thing again? It’s like every ten years someone take it off the shelf, puts a new wrapper on it, and tries to regift it as new. It’s not that there’s no truth to it. Everyone is lucky to be born in America, and being born American confers advantages. We all owe a debt to the generations before us. It’s just that where the argument is right it’s not nearly powerful enough to do the work the AOC-Elizabeth Warren-Obama-Sanders crowd wants it to do. The top .01% already pays massive amounts in taxes. America’s tax code is extremely progressive. And where the argument is wrong, it’s used to justify absolutely ridiculous policies pushed by politicians few trust to do the actual things that everyone believes the government is there to do.

QATAR MEETS WITH U.S. QUIETLY IN MIAMI Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoy Steve Witkoff met with Qatari PM Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani in Miami today to discuss ongoing US-Iran negotiations, according to a source cited by The Times of Israel. Qatar has reportedly been quietly serving as a mediator between Washington and Tehran while allowing Pakistan to take the more public role. The report says the Trump administration wanted Doha to play a larger role due to its mediation experience during the Gaza war and other conflicts, but Qatar was hesitant over fears of backlash if talks failed or accusations of being too close to Iran if a deal succeeded. The Qatari premier also reportedly met with Vice President JD Vance at the White House on Friday.

We'll be getting it together because by that time, we'll have an agreement and there's no need for fighting when there's an agreement. Nice right? That's better. We would have done it the other way if we had to.” The President then stated that the material would be brought back to the U.S. once it was recovered, “Our people, together with the Iranians, are going to work together to go get it.
