Paul Anka: “Every child born after the year 2000 will live over 100. They know that. There is sh*t coming down the pipeline that we will take [for] a healthy, coherent life over 100.”

@GooseGanderTalk @JohnLeFevre Safety is something that comes from the people of the community. If the community supports and grows criminals, no policy or police unit is going to be able to deliver what the community doesn’t support.

@JohnLeFevre That is truly awful, as are the 40,000 murder victims since then who happen to be White, at least 3,500 - 4,000 of which (probably more, many remain unknown) were killed by Black assailants. Murder is horrible, period. All communities deserve real safety.

Since George Floyd’s death in May 2020, the US has recorded over 50,000 Black homicide victims - more than 14 times the total number of Black Americans lynched by the KKK and mobs across the entire Tuskegee dataset (3,446 from 1882–1968). The "defund," bail reform, and de-policing policies sold as racial justice delivered the sharpest homicide spike in modern history instead - disproportionately devastating Black neighborhoods. Black communities deserve real safety, accountable policing, and cultural honesty - not performative slogans from grifters and opportunistic politicians.

@BuckSexton It’s not just localized to Minneapolis. Unfortunately about 45% of the country (a.k.a Democrat voters) suffer from the delusion.

The markets outperform social security. Private school students outperform public in every benchmark. Private insurance > Medicare/Medicaid/VA. Private charities > welfare. Private security > police. The private sector does it better every time.

Democrat logic: Don't like immigration laws? Make sanctuary cities. Don't like the Supreme Court's decisions? Add more left-wing Justices. Don't see enough hate to fundraise off of? Manufacture it like the SPLC.

@TheAlphaThought Funniest thing about the story is that the focus is on the portfolio value and not the fact that he wasted his life accumulating money instead of accumulating life experiences. Absolute waste.

40 years of day trading just to underperform the S&P 500. Hours wasted staring at a screen and stock charts to end up with less than something that could have done it while you sleep. The more hands off you are, the more money you will end up with.
Bull Theory@BullTheoryio

This 88 year old Japanese trader spent 40 years day trading and turned $387,000 into a $14 million portfolio. If he had simply bought the S&P 500 in 1986 and done nothing, he would have over $21 million today.

The restaurant industry needs to find a solution to this, and quick. Alcohol is a double whammy for them because obviously the drinks give the restaurant a lot of profit and consumers are more likely to purchase more food when drunk. If this trend does not change the restaurant industry will struggle massively over the next few decades, I can assure you.

The alcohol industry has lost $830 billion over the past four years because Generation Z is consuming less alcohol.

@thematrixb0t The billionaire paid the 12.4% rate on the first $184,000 of income. What they pay above that shouldn’t even be paid because the benefits are capped.

Murray: Is it true that people making under $184,000 pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? Dahl: Yes Murray: And the rate for someone making $1,000,000? Dahl: 2.2% Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184,000, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.

Mexico function a thousand times better than California. California has spent BILLIONS on a building a new train system for over a decade & has laid ZERO miles of functional track. America is an Empire in fast decline ending the same way all empires end, the treasury has been high jacked & continuously looted by Billionaires, Banks, & the War Machine instead of investing in our own country. x.com/jacksonhinkle/…

@ClayTravis Th most important thing that has to happen is that the athletes actually have to meet college academic standards. What you see now at major colleges is a cadre of players who are obviously just there for sports, they can’t even speak proper English.

Ultimately what has to happen is Congress MUST pass an antitrust exemption for college athletics to allow basic rule implementation. The most important first rule? Ending unlimited transfers. Players shouldn’t be able to play for five different teams in five years. That’s insane.

I will never complain about there being too many college football playoff games because I spent the first twenty years of my college football fandom begging for there to be any playoff at all. 4, 8, 12, 16, 24 teams, I’ll take any of it.
